Beautiful Harbour Studio located in Vauxhall on the water front, one of the best locations in Dunedin, looking out over the magnificent day/night views of the city lights, harbour and the Forsyth Barr Stadium sitting in the background
Only 5 minutes’ drive to town or ride/walk on the purpose built cycle lane and walk way that takes you into the city or carry on down the bay for an adventure.
This self-contained Studio room is a separate dwelling that has been built below a 1940's art deco house so it comes with great characteristics, privacy and your own deck with nice outdoor table to relax and soak the all-day sun and views, this is really a unique location.
The owner also owns a Bike Hire business, each person booking accommodation is entitled to 20% Discount code
The studio room has a king size bed, dining table and bathroom (shower/toilet).
There is a fold out bed available for a child or an extra guest, this would be laid out on the floor.
TV, DVD, Internet, Fridge, Microwave, Jug, Cups and Plates.
Complementary refreshment provided.
Included is a continental breakfast

Deck is not that suitable for small children/babies

The view is amazing, loved it, at night and during the day. Some breakfast items, good coffee and a welcome drink are provided. The host has described the steepness of the driveway accurately and has suggested parking down the hill and across the road if you can't navigate the driveway. I wouldn't consider this a straightforward alternative, particularly if you arrive at night or in the rain, or at a busy time in the traffic. We found the bed waaaay too saggy. It was great to have a washing machine/dryer. The heat pump was really effective and we were cosy despite it being a cold night. The 'kitchen' set up is not easy with hotplates right next to the tv. We only used the toaster and coffee maker. There's no where to place a suitcase or to hang clothes. The shower was hot with good pressure. We loved the quirkiness and history of the property, but it's not for everyone.

Great concept and enjoyed the stay, however needs maintenance with rot in window frames, cork floor covering in bathroom failing and bed too soft. No wine glasses.Access to car park below studio very challenging due to steep driveway.
