About this villa rental
Villa of 100 m2 on two floors with 700 m2 garden on several levels. The garden is lush with mature olive trees, cherry trees and flowers. There are several terraces both sunny and shady nooks total of 165 m2 with private pool (7,5 x4 m) and panoramic views. Deck chairs, dining tables, chairs and outdoor weber kitchen with gas grill on the patio. The covered pergola on one of the undisturbed terraces operates throughout the summer as additional ' conservatory ', where also the outdoor kitchen is located.
The villa is built on a slope and faces south with magnificent views of the valley and mountains. The house sits on top of the small, charming town Bendejun in altitude of approx. 500 meters. When you see the incredible views from the house you can feel calm and 'hear' the silence.
Upper floor: bedroom, separate bathroom and toilet, large living room with fireplace, TV with chromecast, free wifi and access to a 100 m2 terrace with pool. Modern kitchen with dishwasher. Separate ground floor: 2 bedrooms, newly renovated bathroom with eg washing machine. Exit to own 65 m2 terrace. There is no interior staircase between floors, but a wide, easy external staircase. New Aircondition has been installed 2026 in all rooms. The house is particularly suitable for a family with older children or more adults .

To start with, yes, the drive up is not like driving along the coast in Nice, but nevertheless quite easily driveable.
The pictures and description do not lie, the house is in a very nice location high up the mountain with amazing views over the valley. Note though that Bendejun "village centre" and the cooperative shop (recommended!) is only driveable. The house has everything you need for your stay and is generally well equipped. You should bring antibug spray as there are tons of little mosquitos at night that can be quite annoying. The pool was clean and there are toys for the kids. The rooms downstairs are getting rather hot during the day and hardly cool down during the night. You are in nature, so expect ants and spiders to take over if you leave food/ leftovers on the table. Cleaning, outside mainly, could have been a bit more thorough though. Overall I would go back without hesitation.

Lovely home away from everything. We were looking for a quiet and secluded stay "away from everything". And that is what we got. The location is quiet and the views are gorgeous. Host was very accommodating. Only thing of note is the drive up and down the hill to the home is 20 mins of pretty intense driving that some people would not enjoy.

Nice stay, with a beautiful view and a great pool.
Little hard to drive up the mountain, narrow roads.
So not ideal to drive at Night - and therefore not going to restaurant for dinner. But a Nice stay
