I love the fact that it is very close to the train station, and it takes less than 4 minutes to catch the train to work.

It wasn’t a luxurious stay and we definitely got enough luxury for the price we paid. Great connection to the train and bus station if you’re a commuter or just touring.
Phillipe showed up really fast to let us back in the room when we locked ourselves out and was an absolute gentleman.
Nothing.

Perfect location to station and into the town

The bed was really comfortable
Unfortunately I booked the last room and it was up very steep stairs l would have been better on ground floor as having a knee replacement
There weren’t sufficient batteries in tv remote so couldn’t watch tv

The stuffs were nice and supportive. The room was clean having a road facing window. The breakfast was okay. Bathroom and toilets were clean but it was shared, not attached to the room. Location is good. Very near to the didcot parkway station.
The room was a bit small but enough for 1/2 person. I liked almost everything.

Closeness to centre and station
Window blinds were thick in dust. There was a very uncomfortable plastic drawsheet on the bed. Broken socket on the extension lead meant juggling for a working power socket. The room smelt of damp. Breakfast was included but was poor: tea/coffee, milk, cereal boxes, yoghurts, long-life pain chocolats and croissants.

Good location near the station. Very good communications in advance.

Lovely lady greeted me and told me places to go and things to do
Couldnt get my tv to work. The room was ground floor i would of prefered to be at the back rather than the front as i felt a little uneasy being on the street. Would 100% stay there again if it had ensuite bathroom or even just your own toilet.

Location was very near the station. Flexible check-in time.
Thin walls so quite noisy in hearing people move around the house, which is unnerving. No window to the outside so felt quite claustrophic. Dirty carpet. Very soft mattress. £6.50 to park car for just one night. Poor breakfast - cheap cereal; brown bananas.

The photos of the rooms are misleading and do not reflect the actual conditions. The owner has repeatedly refused to provide an invoice, despite this being a legal requirement. I would strongly recommend avoiding this property.

Location is super. Close to train station and also close to some supermarkets, restaurants and shops. The property itself was lovely and clean.
Its not the properties fault but people in the other rooms were incredibly noisy the night I was there. I was in the room right by the kitchen and bathrooms so I was woken by people as they walked past.

close to the Didcot train station and to the Didcot shopping center, nice touches (i.e. toothbrush, cookies in room)
dated room, shared bathroom, minimal breakfast, TV antenna needed to be moved for reception, no person
on-site (access via keybox via e-mail/phone ... a problem, when you have no communication device)

Convenient for the station
Extras like breakfast cereals and toiletries were a nice touch.

Nothing to like, Bedroom door would not lock on flat 1 also the handle snapped twice whilst trying to close the door, and this is on the ground floor, blinds allowed people outside to see in as they were twisted and damaged, the blinds were also very dusty and looked like they had not been cleaned for months this was in room 1 and 5. I have taken photo's if you wish to see them. breakfast was not as expected, rice krispies and coco pops are insufficient for 4 adults and packets of croissants are not a healthy option, there was 1 bathroom to share between 5 rooms which were all occupied, beds were not double size, the whole property is a HMO (house of multiple occupancy) very dissatisfied and would not recommend anyone to book it.
all of it

there wasn't a breakfast but i was expecting one.
i didn't realize there was a shared bathroom, that was a downside. room blinds didn't cover the window properly.

This is a cheap B&B. The price was low for Didcot.
The room was described as "Deluxe." This must be some new definition of deluxe which I have never come across before. There is only one bathroom for the entire house with a door (I think illegally) off the kitchen.
Room 1 is on the ground floor, fronting on to the pavement - and immediately opposite a school. It felt very awkward getting dressed in the morning - particularly as the Venetian blinds were damaged.
6.0 / 10.0
Everywhere was clean and tidy, "reception" (i.e. whoever answered the front door intercom which I assume was Philippe) was very helpful.
Choice of breakfast cereals was poor and limited. Room was cramped.

Nice location near the station. Appreciated the cereals, snacks, and other provisions
It was boiling hot and there was no air con, so we had a horrible night's sleep

Location
Broken and damaged kitchenware. Smelly toilet. No drinking bottled water supply. The blinders in the room is dusty. No box supplied in the room and I need to pick up from the toilet. There is coffee machine but no instructions how to use it! There is sugar in the kitchen but all melted. There is strange noise in the morning, which is banging on the walls for 10 seconds, then stopped and repeat two more times. It’s nearly a nightmare for staying there.

Proximity to my work location
Very unclean,
Access to upstairs bedroom very narrow and steep.
Available wc/ shower on ground level and accessed through kitchen.

Rooms were clean and tidy
No ensuite, steep stairwell, no parking, toilets with no light and bathroom light switch so high up, venetian blinds untidy

Location was good nice telly and a much appreciated fan in the room.
Comfy bed.
Stairs were very steep.
Shared bathroom was on the ground floor and served all four rooms. Could reach the pull cord to turn on the light, cord is cut very short. Bathroom is also only accessible from the kitchen.
Breakfast is very basic and totally self service.
Can’t comment on the staff as I met none at the property and my room was not serviced after the first night.
The booking listing appears to have every box ticked. For instance towels and linen are both bring your own and supplied.
It is definitely more of an air b & b than a conventional bed and breakfast.

I made a last-minute booking for a guest just a few hours before check-in. Upon arrival, the guest found that the condition of the room did not meet expectations (too many rooms share one toilet) and left immediately WITHOUT using any of the facilities. The room remained untouched and breakfast was not consumed. I contacted the owner to request a partial refund, given the minimal time the booking held the room and no use of services. The owner refused and insisted on charging the full amount. I find this policy unreasonable and disappointing, especially considering the circumstances.

Location was excellent, close to the station - but not so close that train noise would be a problem; the accommodation was clean and comfortable.
No-one available to greet us on arrival, just after 6 pm. Only one cup and glass provided, also only one set of towels, although we had booked for two people. Breakfast was disappointing - limited range of cereal, no high-fibre option. Toaster available - but no bread to toast. The only fruit on offer was one rather unappetising banana.

Perfect location with regard to Didcot city centre and Didcot station. Great spacious rooms and comfortable stay, all facilities are very clean. Phillipe the owner is very helpful with any enquiry and will always make you feel right at home.
