Fantastic Family Apartment in Estrela

The apartment was clean and spacious, and the location was excellent. There was a beautiful church next to a large park, which was perfect for morning walks among the lovely trees and flowers. The park also had a nice restaurant where we enjoyed spending time. There were plenty of shops nearby, making it very convenient to buy everything we needed during our stay.

The apartment was located on the third floor, which we were not aware of when we made the booking. We only found this out a few days before our holiday. This information should have been made much clearer in the listing, as carrying luggage up several flights of stairs may be difficult for some guests. We were also asked to be very quiet, especially during the night, which we completely respected. However, this seemed rather contradictory because there were several cafés and bars nearby that generated a lot of noise until around 1:00 a.m. on most nights. It felt unreasonable to expect guests to remain silent while the surrounding area was so noisy. The staircase was very narrow, and the building itself was quite old. When we first arrived, we were a little surprised and even wondered if we were at the correct address because the entrance and the building looked quite different from what we expected based on the photos. Although the apartment itself was nice, our first impression of the building was disappointing.

Un peu difficile à chauffer en hiver (et les plombs ont sauté quelques fois lorsque radiateurs et bouilloire électrique fonctionnent en même temps) Absence de parking sécurisé à proximité (mais j'ai finalement trouvé une option)

It was a beautiful, top floor apartment that opened up nicely for fresh air with some views of the church that were nice to look at. Beds were comfortable. We enjoyed our walk into the old town and caught a tram all the way home. Check in was super easy. All day parking ~1 km down the street for €16, it looked like you might be able to get free street parking in the area from 7pm-9am.

No lift, which was informed in advance and no issues for us at all, including for the grandparents who joined us.

A lakás kellemes volt, nagy ablakokkal, dekoratív megoldásokkal. A konyha kényelmes méretű. Én elég magas vagyok, ezért tetszett, hogy a pult magasabb volt az itthoni szabványnál

A tisztaság nem volt a legfőbb erénye a lakásnak. A konyha padlója ragadt, a fürdőkádban túl lassan folyt le a víz és a nappali szőnyege is koszos volt. Mi 5 főre foglaltunk és megírtam a kapcsolattartónak, hogy este érkezünk. A gépünk késett, ezért 10 órakor érkeztünk meg. Rögtön ágyazni kezdtünk a nappaliban és nem találtuk a lepedőt. Felhívtuk a kapcsolattartót, aki közölte, hogy csak írásban hajlandó kommunikálni velünk. Ezt így is tette, de portugálul a hívásunkat követően. Addig ment angolul is.
