Beautifully presented cottage ,spotlessly clean, in a quiet setting. Near to castle douglas. A great base for exploring the area. A fab welcoming gift awaited us which was a lovely touch.
WiFi was quite slow but didn't spoil our break. A note if the weather is bad the road to the cottage is quite long and narrow with some small inclines.

Very well equipped. Nice decor and a homely feel. Nice little touches such as a vase full of carnations on window sill and packets of biscuits in kitchen cupboards. Very quiet location in rural area. Enjoyed returning to the cottage after a day out exploring the area.
Nothing much. Electric heating could be a bit more adjustable but we were comfortable all the time.
