Casa Glória

We loved the outdoor space but most importantly, Moises had the BEST air conditioning in our stay in Portugal! We stayed at 3 properties.

La ubicación es excelente para recorrer el centro de la ciudad. La habitación es bastante grande en comparación con el resto de la casa. A un paso de mini-market y restaurantes.

El salon-cocina-comedor es realmente pequeño. Ideal para hacer vida fuera. Si vas en verano, como hay terraza, la casa está genial, pero si vas en invierno casi no hay espacio. Para colocar la ropa solo hay un armario que se nos quedó pequeño para 4 (muchas perchas eso sí). Se agradecería una cómoda, ya que hay sitio para ponerla en el dormitorio, que es de buen tamaño.

A fab find, just off the Avenida da Liberdade, the Champs Elysee of Lisbon, with its own lovely square just down the road - which has a mini music festival going on, a gorgeous breakfast place literally around the corner, and 2/3 great restaurants on your doorstep - shout out to Larissa at Green Burger who was lovely and helpful. We fortuitously went at the same time that there was wonderful street market lining the Avenida (as well as all the posh shops) and it was easy walking distance to the more affordable stores :-). The apartment was insanely quiet, had a gorgeous sun and shade courtyard with an outdoor shower to cool off, comfy outdoor furniture. Inside was nicely decorated and the a/c worked like a dream. Also gorgeous big bath towels and a very comfy double bed in the main room. Water filter in the kitchen with icy water a massive plus. Moises was incredibly helpful and communicative throughout. Be sure to ask for his recommendation for a tuk tuk driver as well if you stay, a 1..5 hour tour of the histroric areas in a shady tuk tuk was one of the highlights of our short weekend.

The only slight compromise is that it's one bedroom so if a family of four, two are on the sofa bed but it's a pretty good sofa bed, and due to the location and the quality of the rest of the apartment it shouldn't put anyone off...just make the kids sleep on it ;-)

Easy to check in and convenient location. Good beds. Good communication with hosts.

The stove was not working despite it being listed as a feature. The bathroom was not properly ventilated - our towels were always wet and the shower didn't drain well. The kitchen was stinky - had a strong smell of drain. Luckily we spent most of our day outdoors.
