The facility was clean and quiet.
This was our first time sleeping on typical Japanese mattress and pillow. We were tired, but I still had trouble falling asleep. I would say, we did not like the mattresses and pillows.
Did not have breakfast at the hotel, but staff there seemed friendly.

Walking distance to the Kyoto train station. Lots of shops and restaurants in the station.
Accessible to subway. Near to a 7-11 store.
Hotel had friendly cleaning staff. Easy checkin with the dinosaurs. :)
Laundry was ok, it washed well but drying took us 3 times to dry our clothes.
It was a 2-1 washer dryer.

It was close to Kyoto station only a 5 minute walk. You can leave your luggage upon checking in and out and use your own access code and they have lockers for smaller bags as well.
They use robots to check in and out, there’s no human interaction so no personal touch. The bed is hard and very low which is uncomfortable when you are tall. The bathtub doesn’t look clean and the floor was wet but that may be incidental.
