Close to where we needed to be and dog friendly
Was only left 1 towel. Not a lot of wood for the fire didn't last long. Extremely small, once the table was erected to eat there was no room to move.

Cosy vibes, perfect for a quiet chilled getaway. Decent places for food and drinks near by. Little log burner is a really great addition and keeps the property nice and warm !

Amazingly warm and atmospheric. We felt so relaxed in the hut. Everything we needed in a very small space.
Wasn’t easy to get hold of the owners. Had messaged in advance about a few things and had no response and then when no towels left in the property it took quite a while to get contact.

Lovely remote location.
Wifi and phone service not great but if you want R and R it’s perfect.

The property itself was lovely, quirky and well equipped
There were nests of lady birds in the property and lots of cobwebs around the ceiling: I don’t think it had been used for a while and hadn’t been refreshed. We had to evict 53 ladybirds. The owner did offer to come down but we had got rid of them by then so it seemed little point. I get that this is a an outdoor cabin but felt it needed a bit more attention to the cleanliness around the windows, doors and ceilings

It was a cute place with a comfortable bed, a kitchenette and a shower/ loo. It is in a sizeable garden in a rural situation.
The door to the property didn't lock, so as a single woman I felt insecure. The owner firstly ig ored my message then was surly when I told him about it. He said he would ask his Dad to fix it. It wasn't. Nor did he communicate again with me during my stay. It stayed unlockable.

Loved that it was tucked out the way - so private
I was traveling for work and one of the needs I have is WiFi. Unfortunately I couldn’t connect any of my devices.

Quiet, peaceful location in beautiful surroundings. The hut was beautifully decorated. The bed was extremely comfortable and I slept really well. Rosie was a great host and helped me with a lot of stuff. I liked it so much, I've booked to stay again soon!
Initial problems locking the door, but that was sorted for me.
The temperature of the shower was difficult to control, but I also explained that to Rosie.

Cute little place to stay in lovely area, was perfect for me and my little girl, she loved the large lawn to pay on and watched the bats at bedtime
The front door was a bit sticky and I couldn't lock it. I worked out the 'knack' after a while though.

Beautiful quiet location and very cosy with everything you need.
The bathroom was tiny but adequate and the decking was a bit unstable but we loved it.

The setting was secluded, quiet and picturesque. The chalet itself was set out well.
Couldn’t secure the lock on the front door at bedtime, so we had to pull the bench across the door. Lucky we had the dogs really. But it would have been very unsettling fire anyone with anxiety issues, or alone.
Plus the welcome wasn’t very friendly, with only one person talking to us. We rang ahead, to see if we could drop of our backs and go, which was fine. We had two dogs, one small, one medium sized (Lab). We’d barely got out the car when she (Rosie?) said “I didn’t realise you had a big dog”..? Strange…we left with ten mins and returned after 6.30pm. We never heard or saw the hosts once. It made us feel too awkward to call them back out @11pm re the lock. It was a comfortable stay, but, we were staying there on my actual birthday and it didn’t feel as enjoyable as it should have, sadly.

The location was lovely, down a lane in the middle of the countryside with very little passing traffic yet 5 minutes from the motorway junction.
Set up was cute and very pleasant.
Rosie was very friendly and accommodating
Sheep and new lambs at the bottom of the garden!
Shower tray filled up with water rather than emptying so needed some maintenance
Only 1 shower towel per couple
No coffee sachets available, 2 sugars and 2 tea bags but did have 2 hot chocolate sachets
Needs some maintenance especially the deck

Turned up at the property to be met by barking dogs at the owners property window. Although the owner saw me through the window as they came to tell the dogs to be quiet, I was not welcomed etc. had to walk around the grounds on my own to locate the property. Once inside, it was a lot smaller than the photos and quiet tired looking. The bed is actually a sofa bed. I immediately left

This is a really cute hideaway perfect for a short stay in a lovely location. It felt very private and was great for our dog. It was nice to have the deck chairs so we could sit outside.
The wifi was not that great and we struggled to get a phone signal but that was also a benefit as well.

Location was rural, sun was out, lovely. Nice area for dog o wander around safely.
It was a bit smaller than expected. No joy trying to get a taxi when we wanted to get to the wedding reception so had to drive.

Rosie was so easy to get hold of and very accomodating when we had to change dates. Very idyllic setting for a peaceful few nights away. Great that it had a fully functioning bathroom in the hut. It was a cute hut and a different experience I hadn't had before. Rosie had put the heating on and pretty lights before we arrived so it was very welcoming and warm.
Their dogs were also lovely and friendly
Pictures are a little deceptive as you can't have the table out and bed out at the same time but it wasn't a major problem, perhaps a sofa bed would be a better option for comfortable chilling and a headboard. The biggest downside was the dog urine stained quilt, I kept getting a whiff of stale dog wee and when we stripped the bedding before we left we found multiple stains on the quilt, which was surprising as originally we were taking our dogs and was told there was a £40 charge for bedding cleaning. We don't regret our stay but I do feel it was overpriced and there is room for updates such as the decking didn't feel sturdy. If I was being over picky, a longer mirror could fit over the bathroom door and milk for morning coffee.

Rural location. Dog friendly.
We booked in the afternoon for an evening arrival which is not abnormal. The hut was cold and so on request we were brought a new heater. But the point was laboured on its seliverh that we booked late (about three/four hours or so earrlier) and that's why the hut was cold. We were made to feel somehow guilty for booking! Same day bookings are conventional for people travelling day by day, and so to make the guest feel awkward about their presence is a little off.
At the end of Feb, the hut was too cold.
I didn't think the hut was comfortable as it was smaller than I thought from the photos.
There was no wood for the miniature woodburner despite being included in the price.
We were told there would not be much water in the hot water tank and to "just do your bits". We could have booked a spacious room with a standard amount of hot water nearby for the same price. I think at this time of year, there is no novelty value to the hut, and so the price should be much lower. £90 for a tiny cold hut with little hot water, and no space for your bags, is just too much.
Still, we needed a bed, and for that we are grateful.

Nothing really .. too small .. once the bed is unpacked no room for anything else ..
too small, very cold, TV doesn’t work, I’m not a princess I actually enjoy rustic but felt very uncomfortable here.. so we left

The location was great. Its a very novel place to stay.
I think for over a hundred pounds a night there could have been a better attempt at making it more comfortable. The lack of a relaxing seat was exacerbated by the folding chairs not matching the table height.. A sofa bed might be a better option. The 'kitchen' was appreciated but it was past its best and the crockery was eclectic. The buckled frying pan should be binned. The bathroom and shower although perfectly funcional was not a a very attractive space. This accommodation is a lovely idea but let down in the poor attention to detail.
