1 Cruck Cottage

Beautiful cottage. Perfect location. Clean. Great layout for a family of four. We would definitely book again.

Slightly understocked - only one hand towel, no bath mats, only 3 bowls. But these were such minor things. Would 100% recommend!

Very good location and parking space , ideal for a short break for 4 adults ,

Nothing not to like . Would be beneficial to provide a toaster and better pillows . Also a a key safe would be good if the group want to split up and leave the key somewhere safe .

Stunning period cottage with character stone walls & fireplaces. Location great being tucked away just off the High Street. Parking right outside the property. Responsive host.

The cottage was in a great location for what we needed. The bathrooms were lovely and clean and spacious, along with the master bedroom. The cottage seemed to be equipped with everything that would be required for a stay.

Upon arrival the kitchen was covered in ants. We sorted this initially however it turned out to be a bigger issue, with ants continuing to appear in the kitchen area, on the floor of the lounge area, the stone wall in the lounge area and on the sofa. This made it very difficult to make ourselves comfortable and any food and snacks that we had brought with us we had to keep in our car. As we were only staying for one night, arriving early evening and leaving early morning I did not contact the host regarding this. The following day we were attending a family wedding and so contacting the host at that time was not priority. The main light in the second bedroom was also broken, a lamp had been supplied, however I had read that this was the case in previous reviews so would have expected the issue to have been fixed.
