The location is very good. Walking distance from the old town. It has all the facilities for a convenient stay. Restaurants/bar/pastery near by, and also, supermarket.

Saffi 15 was very clean and comfortable We really enjoyed our stay Thank you for your assistance as we made our way around Bologna The bus system in Bologna is exceptional and for guests taking the train to Bologna, Bus 35 coming from the train station will go right by the apt.

It would be helpful to know beforehand that WhatsApp will allow you to communicate with the host. When we got it set up it worked very well

Excellent stay, but the flat felt empty.

Very clean, and bright. Nicely appointed kitchen.

The sofa bed was slightly strange as it sunk at the top. The shower wasn’t working for the head piece, but I will say very good pressure in the hand held. Not enough relaxed chairs.

Clean modern convenient apartment in Bologna

Saffi 15 Azzuro is a great apartment for exploring Bologna. Located in a quiet safe residential neighborhood with a 20 min walk to the city center. The apartment is modern, with new furniture, very clean and equipped with good quality appliances (kettle, coffee machine, hair dryer, iron, washing machine, etc). The host is extremely organized with clearly outlined property rules, everything was well labelled. The building itself was also clean and had an elevator. You get a lovely view of the nearby church from the balcony. Parking is not inside the building, but close by (a private garage available doe a separate pay). Communication with the host was quick and easy. She proactively provided us with a ton of suggestions about the city. We had a great stay - thank you for your hospitality!

We liked everything. A dishwashing machine and a couple of extra towels and spare blankets would have been a bonus, but no big deal.

Inconvenient

Apartment was clean.

- the check in process (registering online, video call with all people staying in the apartment, scanning documents etc.) is a huge pain and I wouldn't stay at this property again for this reason - Mattress is terrible and very uncomfortable - No good parking options nearby so it was quite inconvenient to stay at this property (particularly in our situation as a family with lots of luggage)

The location of the apartment is excellent. there is a market, bars and restaurants in the immediate vicinity. The bus station is a 2-minute walk from the apartment. The train station is a 20-minute walk from the apartment, as is the city center. The apartment has all the necessary facilities for a comfortable family stay. Communication with the host was excellent. Good price ratio and enriched with what the apartment offers. The impression is spoiled by the fact that the apartment is not painted, and it does not give the impression of a perfectly clean space. Everything else was great.

Experienced my own La Dolce Vita in this apartment in Bologna!

Had a fully renovated apartment to myself, accessible and really close to the center! Host was accommodating in letting me check in earlier as soon as it was possible, which i really appreciated.

I really enjoyed it.

The location of the apartment is fantastic - it's only a 20 minute walk from Piazza Maggiore. The kitchen annex is very well-planned and useful. All kitchen equipment - from plates to even a corkscrew is already there. Air conditioning works well. Also, the windows have electric blinds, which make the apartment very quiet. Excellent serivice - great contact with the host.

The water in that the shower drain is a bit clogged, so you have to be careful while taking a longer shower not to flood the bathroom.

Superb

The apartment was clean, spacious and comfortable. Excellent location within easy distance to walk into the centre. The road was busy but the windows kept the sound down and blinds worked well. Helpful to have some basic supplies such as coffee pods and olive oil for cooking.

Communication was a bit difficult as we only got check in details after we had left our last place so couldn't open emails due to lack of wifi. The contact was very helpful when we used the number to phone. It was just a bit tricky arriving by bus in the heavy rain not knowing where to go. Directions could have been clearer.

Studio not apartment

Location

WI-FI was bad, to complicated process of registration (link + video call), this is not the apartment (all bed's are in the same room and kitchen too)....we call that studio. Bathroom wasn't comfort.

Very nice location - just outside of historic center but very easy and pleasant 15-20 minutes' walk to any attraction. There is also plenty of public transport if you need. Very helpful host. Clean and fresh apartment.

The bed was too hard for us. The apartment is on the central transport street - sometime is noisy. One evening there was a strong noise from neighbor apartment - sounds like their TV is on the other side of bedroom wall.

A great place to stay is ruined by an extremely uncomfortable mattress

- Clean and reasonably well-equipped - Quiet despite reviews online saying it was noisy. It is next to a busy street but it is well sound-proofed - Good air-conditioning - City bike parking directly in front of building

- Extremely uncomfortable mattress. When I complained, they added a mattress topper but it still sucked. It’s unacceptable to have a mattress this bad in a hotel or apartment. I would have given this place a 9 otherwise but I couldn’t do it after sleeping on that mattress for 6 nights

The apt was spotless clean, spacious and located in a good area. It is like 15/20 min to historic center, which is great. In front of the building is the bus stop (number 36 goes directly to train station). The communication with the host was very smooth. Perfect stay!

Recommend this apartment for families or couples of friends

Cozy, comfortable and very clean apartments. The apartments have everything you need for a comfortable stay - dishes, iron, hair dryer, etc. The city center is about five minutes' walk. On-line support from the moment of booking to arrival at the apartments. There are several cafes and restaurants nearby, as well as Conad supermarket.

The procedure of online registration is slightly inconvenient and lengthy.

Very clean apartment, very beautiful apartment and generously sized with big windows, recently renovated building, new elevator, exterior electric windows sun blockers. Good location, 15-20 minutes walk to Piazza Maggiore. Free coffee capsules and tea (a nice touch). The washing machine was quite useful -appreciated the fact that they provided detergent for it (It sounds like an obvious thing but it's not that uncommon for hosts not to provide the detergent :)) )! Great restaurants nearby! Very close to the bus stations. Lovely balcony.

No anti-mosquito window blockers (rarely found in Italy), and the apartment can be a bit noisy, especially if the guests are accustomed to very quiet places (not the case for us). Also, we could not find more empty trash bags (needed a bit more for the diapers our baby is still wearing). The password for the WiFi did not work - we did not really need the WiFi as we had lots of data on our mobile devices- hope they will fix the issue really fast. A quite small TV :)) The initial online "pre" check-in to the apartment is a bit weird, they should communicate a bit more about why they chose to handle payments and everything else that way. For some people, this may seem odd, including me. But, everything went very smoothly with NO problems.

a very nice apartment on the edge of the city center ruined by poor management.

it was clean, updated and spacious

the location makes it a bit of a hike from the city center and nearby restaurants weren’t very good. the staff was oddly rigid about our late check in which seemed unnecessary. they also refused to shorten our stay by one night. in the end they overcharged vs. the Booking.com total charge by over 30 euros.

I sincerely recommend this apartment

I am very pleased with my choice. The apartment is beautiful. Daria is the best host I have ever met. All wishes were taken into account. Daria was always in touch, answering all my questions or requests. The apartment is well furnished. There are all the necessary things: all furniture, an iron, an ironing board, a washing machine, a hair dryer etc. I had a wonderful time here. Special thanks to Daria for allowing me to leave my things in the apartment until the evening. If I'm in Bologna again, I know exactly where to stay. I will definitely recommend this apartment and the city to my friends.

The only wish that could improve the apartment - it's slippers. Of course, this is not a problem. However, with slippers it would be perfect to stay here.
