The location was good. There was a good amount of space in the flat.
The parking space was unusable. A great deal of information was provided about the measurements of the garage, but it was impossible to get the car into the space given the stairs in front of it, a pillar that stuck out, and the wall that comprised one side of it - an absolutely unforgiving right angle. We ended up having to use the long stay carpark. The flat was not very clean. The rubbish bin in the kitchen smelled. The shower water did not get very hot in the downstairs shower. The water pressure in the upstairs shower was weak.

It was laid out well for a family of 6. The common areas were attractive and functional. The view was delightful
There was no hand soap provided, and the toilet paper was sufficient for just the first night. While the description for the property was clear about what such articles they would provide, I didn't imagine that there would be no hand soap in any of the bathrooms. Also, they did not in fact provide the full supply of articles; I had to request the remainder of the promised items (like dish soap). This was very annoying, given the high price for the accommodation, and made travel with a large group traveling internationally less than smooth.
The towel warmers did not operate and there were not sufficient drying rails for six towels.

The location was great and the house is modern and very spacious. The garage for one car was a bonus too.
Found a lot of crumbs down the sides of the sofa on arrival which wasn’t nice but we cleaned it immediately . A few other minor cleaning issues but nothing major.

Spacious and light accommodation over 3 floors of a townhouse above garaging. 3 bedrooms & bathroom on 1st floor, large sitting room, dining area and kitchen with balcony on 2nd floor, lovely en suite on top floor. Luxury feel to accommodation, and furniture - we could live there! We thought we had a problem with the property which turned out to be a false alarm from us, and the company was very responsive and friendly about sorting out.
Getting your car in and out of the garage provided is pretty challenging as garage no.1 doesn't have much manoeuvre room around it - just prepare yourself. Many St Ives properties have no parking at all, and you really don't want to be driving around St Ives so advise just view it as a safe place to store your car while you're there.

Although our car would have fitted in the garage we were unable to get into it due to concrete stairs opposite, so this meant we did not have enough turn in access . This at the end of a long car journey when very tired was not welcome.
Claire from escape to st ives was very helpful in trying to sort out an alternative parking space eventually the next day.

A lovely home, an easy walk from Porthminster beach. Very comfortable for a family.
One of the showers didn't work while we were there but that was the only negative.
