Previous clients rubbish in the bin, paint flaking of the ceiling onto me when I was drying myself after a shower, extractor not working won’t help.

The room was small and bed a little too soft for my liking ,but the big bonus was that the food in the restaurant was excellent 👍😃😜

The teas and biscuits.
The noise of the trains.

The bed was comfortable except there was no space round it. The staff were very helpful on arrival and helped take our luggage upstairs. There was wardrobe and drawer space
The room was very small. There was no space to put things we needed over night and it was difficult for the person by the wall to get out of bed in the night. It is very near the railway line and when goods trains went by the whole place shuddered. There were trains late at night and early in the morning.
There was no soap in the bathroom.

The pub itself was nice
Size of room, size of bathroom, bed was not comfy, very cramped and bed was covered on all 3 sides, was right next too train tracks and a depot for freight trains so couldn’t sleep all night due to this

Well presented rooms with lots of facilities. Comfortable bed. Nice to have free WiFi. Brilliant free parking with lots of spaces.
It was very close to the train track, which I knew about before booking, however due to the heatwave I had to keep windows open which made it noisy and the fan supplied was also noisy so had a slightly disturbed sleep. But I don’t hold the venue responsible, it was just unfortunately very hot when I stayed!

The pub itself seemed fine.
The location of the pub was right by a railway line, so very noisy.
The room was tiny and just about fitted a double bed in it.
It was very hot in the room and there was no soap or shower gel in bathroom

Staff were lovely very helpful and friendly . Great having a restaurant on site , bar was cosy and welcoming. Really nice atmosphere. Towels were lovely and soft too.
There were no toiletries in the bathroom at all not even hand wash and I didn’t bring any with me but my friend luckily had some. When we did say we got given some handwash. I think if you advertise free toiletries there should be some available.

Meal was lovely , lovely clean room , small but compact
Very close to railway and we were woken at 3am by hedge cutters/chain saws , only lasted for about 20 mins and I am sure it doesn’t happen often. Walls are very thin also

Great location and great property. However there were no staff on site overnight so when the fire alarm went off early in the morning we had to ring the fire brigade to investigate. We tried to contact the managers on their phones but had to leave messages.
No staff on the property overnight or in the morning in case anything went wrong, such as the fire alarm going off in the morning.

No breakfast provided. The staff were very welcoming, efficient and pleasant.
No body mentioned the trains, only 30 yards from the room and at the same level. They ran frequently all through Friday night.
However, I didn't really hear the trains on Saturday. They were drowned out by a, loud, awful band with a drummer with a huge ego and a singer that was out of tune

Small but clean private room with en suite. Lots of tea and coffee provided (needed more milk and had to use bottled water to fill kettle as it wouldn’t fit under tap). Friendly check in staff. Lots of towels provided. Good parking, TV with many channels. Bed firm (but that is how I like it). Easy access with separate entrance so you don’t have to go through pub.
First night was great, second night was spoiled by an inconsiderate neighbour who have volume up to maximum and ignored request by one room to turn it down, they did when I begged them to at 11.30pm but turned it on again at 02.30 ! I contacted staff but they couldn’t help as they were off site. The railway line is next to the accommodation and it is an extremely busy track with freight through the night. No restaurant until Wednesday, and no breakfast except DIY porridge. Room very hot, I did turn heating to lowest setting but a small room heats very quickly.
