Spacious comfortable room. If you struggle with stairs make sure to try get a ground floor one a the stairs are steep and narrow wirh awkward doors. Car park is good but it's first come first serve and there are no spaces reserved for blue badge users. Staff were very busy last weekend before christmas, which nay account for some short exchanges. Excellent location.

Staff were very efficient and helpful. Check in process very quick and although we arrived very early there were no issues. The room was clean and tidy , but due to its age floors and stairs could be a bit creaky. However what would you expect from the oldest pub in Stafford. Good value and would book again.
