Douglas House

Location. 4 miles from where I needed to be. Bread was a nice wholegrain loaf and toasted nicely.

Place up for sale.. no heating on in the building. Heater did not work in room. Thin single duvet on a double bed. Wore my clothes to bed to keep warm. Had to search the building for the WiFi to get the password off the back. Toilet/bathroom downstairs out the back through the kitchen. No lock on my bedroom door so not secure if I went out, or while i slept. 1 double socket near the bed but large skirting board below so could not plug in items that are shaped to hang down. Stated breakfast included. DIY breakfast. Choice of 4 cereals , toast , glass orange juice already poured in a glass waiting for me...so no idea how long that was there.

Perfect location. Really attentive host. Breakfast included. Close to city centre and station. Comfy bed.

Shared bathroom that was on the ground floor.

I found the host very friendly. He offered me a cup of tea, despite my late arrival. I enjoyed cereal, toast and coffee at breakfast. I also found the room comfortable and clean ......as i was not in a rush I sat out in the garden on a sunny day not departing until 1pm and this was no problem. (Salute 🫡 for that to the establishment ❤️🎈). I will definitely stay in Douglas House again and would recommend it. Troy💪🫡✌️ Nice1 guys
