Very hospitable and friendly. Great value and comfortable. Clean room and bathroom.

Nothing what I expected and delivered

Well just everything. I was made very welcome on arrival. There was plenty of parking available in the road outside the property. The location was good as really near Stafford Town centre and not too far from the railway station if travelling by train (but no noise from the trains to stop you getting a good nights sleep). The bedroom was a good size and very comfortable. I was offered the use of the lounge and the garden to relax in during the evening. The continental breakfast was really good after a good nights sleep and a nice hot shower. I had a good chat with the owners in the evening. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone and is good value for money. Stafford has a lot to offer and is well worth a visit. The property has a lot of character in a very quiet residential part of the town. You will love stopping here and want to come back as I will be doing.

There was nothing to not like.

Very friendly and accommodating hosts. Good location, walking distance to the train station. Breakfast options supplied were very good- I’m just not a breakfast person :)

A sturdier bedroom door lock that can be also be locked from the outside when the room is vacant might offer peace of mind to visitors.

The continental breakfast was good, especially as it accomodated gluten-free customers like me. It was generous. I appreciated the host getting soya milk, as requested. The location was great - only 3m from M6! The host was affable, and greeted me with a glass of beer - very welcome after a long, hot drive! He invited me into his lounge and he is an interesting conversationalist. The house was in a tree-lined street and on-road parking was safe.

I would have liked tea-making facilities in my room. Also, the bathroom was one floor down, which would have been OK if the staircase wasn’t so creaky - I was concerned about waking other people when I went downstairs. (There again I suppose this accounts for the very reasonable price).
