About this house rental
In a prime position on the Platinum West Coast of Barbados, Rum Runner at Golden Acre is our gorgeous colonial style home which is just a stone’s throw from Alleyne’s Bay Beach. Only 200 yards from the water, you'll find it nestled in lush tropical gardens…and being just one line back from the coast road, it offers far more peace, tranquillity and privacy than most other properties that you’ll find.
It’s just a couple of minutes walk to Ju Ju’s, the Lone Star Bar and Restaurant, Juma's & the Royal Pavilion Beach Club, with Holetown closeby where you’ll find shopping at the Limegrove Lifestyle Centre, a large Massy supermarket, 24hr Medical Centre, Cinema, dozens of bars, restaurants and other shops. For a step back in time to the colonial buildings of the past, Speightstown is about five minutes’ drive north.
Rum Runner has the largest floor space of all the properties at Golden Acre and is the only property to have bifold doors to access to the gardens at the rear & side.

All rooms have full air conditioning
We have a 7 night minimum stay apart from the Christmas period which is a 10 night minimum stay

Good location, clean, quiet, nice & private, pool a good little sun trap 😊🌞, everything you need in the house, manager nice and friendly.

Our stay at Mount Standfast was fabulous. The house was perfect and provided all that we needed. It actually far exceeded expectations. It’s a 5 min walk to the beach, and very close to all necessary amenities. The property manager and owners were terrific in accommodating all of our needs.
We will be back!

This is possibly the cleanest property we have stayed in and very well equipped. We struggled a little bit not having much outdoor space or a garden and anywhere to BBQ. The location makes up for it though, quite neighbourhood and a 5 minute walk to the beach. Thank you very much for letting us share your beautiful villa.
