Hidden luxury

The property was very spacious and well appointed within easy walking distance of the town centre and amenities. The facilities were very good considering the price point, with a spacious bedroom, living area and kitchen.

You could hear the guests in the flat upstairs quite clearly.

An excellent, cosy and convenient place to stay

We stayed here a couple of years ago. We were so impressed with the apartment we had no hesitation booking again. The property is on a main road, you would never know as it is set back and has parking on site. Very convenient for local shops, Tesco & Aldi are close by too. There were the essentials and more left for us on arrival. Everything was clean and well kept and being on ground floor level it would be suitable for people with a little impairment. Lovely seating outside at the rear ideal for a quiet read or glass of something. Newmarket has lots of nice Restaurants and places nearby to visit. All in all a very nice relaxing stay.

Wouldn't stay again

Had everything you needed .

The towels that were on the bed were wet and a bit smelly . Also wasn't impressed with the cleanliness of cups, utensil drawer or shower walls.

We were in Newmarket for the races. Staying just out of town was ideal as it was quieter at night.

Cleanliness, well equipped, comfortable bed, very clean linen and towels. Surprisingly quiet as the bedroom is on the front and faces a fairly busy road. We hired and Uber taxi into town for about £3.30 as the walk was a bit far for us. I would guess just over a mile. Tea, long life milk provided which was great.

Although we were asked to bring bath sheets as these weren't provided, it seemed a shame these weren't provided but it wasn't that much of an issue to be honest. We were advised parking was a bit tight as the space was small but we managed to fit our Range Rover on it - just! The coffee provided had seen better days and needed replacing.

Comfortable bed and plenty space for clothes and belongings …Nice touch with milk in the fridge, tea, coffee, crisps and biscuit welcome snacks. Dishwasher tablets and liquid soap in the kitchen an added bonus. Well appointed apartment, Aaron was very helpful with info and directions for key box entry. Great location with a lovely sun trap garden at the back with sitting. We will definitely stay again when coming to Newmarket races!

Lovely and comfortable

The location was great, we stayed here for the races. The apartment was modern, clean and comfortable, tea, coffee and milk were provided. The host promptly answered my quieres before our stay. Would stay here again.

Nice clean apartment, ruined by numerous tenats in the apartment above us. Will not be returning.

The property was very neat and tidy.

Did not enjoy the tenats in the apartment above. They were extremely loud, playing music and stomping around all hours of the night. We could also hear them running up and down the stairs quite a bit. I could hear at least three individuals running around in a small 1 bedroom apartment with squeaky floor boards. Did not make for a nice stay.

Excellence.

Private entrance, off street parking, and nice city center of Newmarket is close by. Also not far from Mildenhall RAF and Lakenheath RAF are only a 25min drive.

The British style of door lock was a bit confusing to use…but it’s not the fault if the property. Just remember to lock the door pull up on the handle and then lock it. ;-)

Comfortable stay but pricey for a place to crash for a couple of nights.

Size and layout of the property. Facilities. Decoration. Crisps and biscuits in the basket.

Aware of passing traffic. Some squeaky floorboards in the bedroom in the apartment above.

Clean, good size for 2, would stay again but would need to take ear plugs and a smaller car.

Easy walk into Newmarket, or 2 minute drive. 5 min drive to Exning equine hospital. 5 minute drive to the station. 6 minute drive to Bedford Lodge hotel and spa. Easy walk to supermarket and fish and chip shop. Clean, large 1 bed apartment. Not big enough for 4, even though there is a sofa bed in the living room and large king in the bedroom. Good broadband. Nice desk area. Dining table not really usable, so ate on knees. Host very available if needed. Housekeeping ladies very efficient and polite. Warm and cosy.

The kitchen was ill-equipped. Freezer too frozen up to use. There were no BBC TV channels and no BBC radio. I have a large car and the off-road car parking was tricky. I could have parked on the road (if there had been any spaces), but it's a very busy main road and I didn't want to. There was no sound proofing, so we could hear our upstairs neighbours entering, leaving, and every word!

A perfect place to stay.

The apartment had all the items you would expect and more. Beds and bedding very clean and gave a goodnights sleep. The Courtyard at the back is a real suntrap and there are picnic benches for you to use. We met Aaron the owner he was very friendly and chatty. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again!

Drain on the shower was very slow.
