The best basecamp to explore Lofoten islands.

Location is perfect. The view is amazing. This place can facilitate a lot of people. I would definitely recommend this place for a stay for groups or a family.

When we arrived the whole place was not ready: dirty laundry, it was very cold inside and took almost 2 days to worm up the whole place only after we've asked heaters. However, the owners helped us to resolve all issues.

Wonderful stay in a stunning spot

The cabin had everything we needed for our four night stay at the end of August/early September with another couple while we were exploring Lofoten. It was quiet, very clean and very comfortable. Øystein was very prompt in answering queries and even dropped around an electric BBQ for us to use one evening, which was very kind. The outlook from the deck to Ballstad harbour and the peaks behind was stunning. The washing machine/dryer was welcomed by us weary travellers, as was the powerful shower.

A wonderful and cozy place to stay with a stunning view of the water.

The place was spacious and well stocked. We especially loved the kitchen and laundry!

The only issue we had was minor and possibly a personal preference, but the 2 pillows on our bed were quite flat and gave us neck pain.

Great modern and comfortable cabin for a good price

I loved this place and wish I had stayed longer. It's a clean, modern, spacious cabin with all amenities I could've wanted. The main bed was comfortable and there were blackout shades for midnight sun. The kitchen was well-equipped and having the washing machine was huge. The view out the back was beautiful. The location is convenient for drives to lots of key spots in Lofoten but the area is calmer than many of the tourist hubs like Reine, which I really liked. The place is walkable to some restaurants, hikes, etc. For the price, it was a great deal.

It might help to have some instructions for the settings on the washing machine.

Marvelous Rorbu with affordable price.

Everything was absolutely perfect! The mountain and lake views were stunning. The host provided all the necessary kitchenware and bathroom essentials, along with a great selection of board games. The house can accommodate more than five people, as there are three bedrooms. It’s centrally located in Lofoten, making it easy to visit all the tourist attractions from one place.

Great quiet location

You can't beat the location..it's stunning, and quiet. Leknes is a short drive if you need more than the local supermarket has. Communication was brilliant and check-in easy with a door code. Parking directly across the road is ample and safe. Kitchen has everything you need to self cater. Beds are comfy with plenty of linen. Bathroom has a great shower,and washing machine/dryer combo appreciated! Happily stay again.

The spiral staircase is tight, but the best option to maximise space The lounge isn't very comfy.

Lovely house

I'd like this red rorbu the most of my trip in Norway. The view from the house is amazing! The view of mountains and lake is so beutiful. The house is comfortable with a big space. 2 floor. The second floor for sleep only and the ground floor is for kitchen and to sit and relax with stunning view from the couch. I love it. The kitchen is seperated with bedroom is so good. the smell won't get in sleeping place. The kitchen has everything you need. But if have more spices for cooking would be great. And got washing machine. The host provide you with tons of towels and linen for bed. And we family for 3 persons but we got 3 bedrooms. So great! The location in Ballstad is good connected to any place in Lofoten easily because it's in the middle. And the village is so peaceful not many tourists here. And Bunprix supermarket, gas station is quite close by car. All in all I love this place and will definitely come back next time.

Spacious and Nice apartment

Apartment is very spacious, with modern deco and very clean, with full kitchen facilities and good amenities (washing machine is included). Like the view from the balcony.

The sprial staircase to the upper floor can be quite hard to negotiate, need to walk down very slowly and carefully. My husband didn't like the smell of the bedsheets (which we have to pick up from the upboard and lay it ourselves).

A perfect place!

Excellent location as a base for spending time and exploring in Lofoten. Rorbuer had a fully stocked kitchen so making your own meals was easy. The four bedrooms would easily accommodate a family or group of travellers. The bed we used was extremely comfortable. The bathroom with a washing machine was an added value. The view is breathtaking from the dock side patio. Private parking across the street was very convenient . It felt like a home away from home.

Amazing rorbu to stay during a lofoten trip and easy to access everywhere

The Rorbu was spacious, with all equipments needed and more and everything was clean, clear to understand and use. It was really confortable and restful to stay here. Staying here was above our expectations.

The robru was extremely well equipped. Everything you needed seemed to be there. The view across the water was lovely whether from the outside patio or from the rooms that looked that direction. Ballstad is a lovely village to be based in as it's a working environment, with normal life going on around you. It also has a small supermarket, cafe, and a choice of good restaurants. We highly recommend!

Lisbeth’s Reine Rorbu is located across the water from the center of Reine. The location is fantastic for a picture perfect view of Reine area. The apartment had everything we needed and Lisbeth was very responsive to our requests.

A spacious house with several bedrooms, and a great kitchen / living room. The room temperature at the ground floor was quite low when we arrived. After contacting the host it turned out there is floor heating which took about a day to heat up, after it did it stayed warm.

Some kitchenware is not there (like lids for pans).

1.地理位置方便，離機場近 2.景觀很美，在陽台就能看到如畫般的風景 3.屋內設備一應聚全，大部分的時光生活機能良好

位置在馬路邊，為開放空間，要考慮安全性在53A住宿第二晚遇到附近青少年敲門，說明在進行挪威傳統「不給糖就搗蛋」活動，雖然覺得奇怪但是仍然配合送給糖果。他們離開後又再回來敲門兩次，因覺得奇怪便未再開門，當下只能以訊息向房東說明情況求助，直到晚上 11 點多才收到回覆，建議不要理會當地青少年的無聊但無惡意舉動。第三晚直接且持續朝前門與後院窗戶丟雪球，用雷射筆近距離、遠距離多次照射(還發現後院多了凌亂腳印)，在陌生的環境遇到這樣的狀況很難以平常心對待。當下向房東求助，仍然沒有得到回應與及時支援。聽著碰碰聲想著玻璃萬一破掉他們會不會進來、看著雷射光想著他們已經進後院就在窗戶邊看著我們驚恐的反應，雖未受損，但連續兩晚的狀況造成極大壓力，直到現在已經回家了，只要聽到聲音仍會感到緊張。雖然房東11點多到來，但是因為太害怕敲門聲了而不敢開門。房東有留訊息說明以前從未發生過此類事件且附近沒有人目擊此事。如果他們再來建議我們直接報警，但是我們是真實遇到了這前所未有的住宿經驗。建議選擇此處旅客夜間提高警覺，謹慎處理與當地居民互動。

Sicuramente da consigliare per un piacevole soggiorno in una Rorbu

Rorbu in riva al mare con un panorama semplicemente magnifco, tutto bello pulito e con buona atrezzatura per la cucina, lo spazio delle varie stanze è molto buono, ottima la presenza dell'asciugatrice, buona anche la posizione per visitare i vari luoghi nei dintorni.

Il materasso della stanza grande era scomodo.

Erdgeschoss schön eingerichtet und gemütlich. Lage super mit wunderschöner Aussicht. Nespresso Maschine vorhanden

Küchenausstattung müsste erneuert / erweitert werden (Messer stumpf, Pfannenwender kaputt, nur 3 Kaffee Löffel), generell sind aber viele Sachen vor Ort (Handtücher, Spülmittel, Spülmaschinentabs...) 2 Zimmer oben sind klein und im Winter kalt. Wendeltreppe recht eng und nichts für kleine Kinder oder körperlich beeinträchtigte Personen.
