The location, facilities, cleanliness and helpful staff were the best thing about the suite! It was so close to anything you needed, was the perfect size with ample features and we couldn’t have thought of anything better for our few days in Riomaggiore!

Location and parking very convienient

Location to the Riomaggiore harbor. If you can, book a kayak for a few hours and paddle left (looking out to sea) of riomaggiore to swim in a small cove for a few hours, the highlight of the trip.

Overall the place is clean, convenient to just to come to sleep, and the location is perfect.

The location is just perfect, and it has its own parking so we didn’t had to worry about where to put the car. The landlord was also very helpful and was always in contact with us, for any question.

The only thing we didn’t like was the time for the parking. We booked for one night, and we arrived late at night so we wanted to explore the city a bit longer during the day. But we couldn’t put our car longer in the parking, and it was too much things to do to put it in the other parking place. So that’s why it was not convenient, and we kind of rushed ourselves from visiting the city.

Quaint and well located studio for a lovely stay

This room had everything we needed for a 3 night stay! Very clean and fairly spacious room compared to other accommodation we had looked at. Loved that there was a little courtyard terrace outside and the walk down to town was really easy and short. Not having stairs to this property from the train station was also a bonus!

A few more utensils such as knife and fork would have been useful and more toilet paper provided but nothing major!

Short stay room with easy car access in Riomaggiore

It was great access if you have a car. We were lucky enough to get parking at the room. Being in the lower level it was nice and cool in the heat of the day. Easy to get around both Riomaggiore and the other towns using a discount voucher provided by the room. Wifi was great

Basic amenities were very skinny - no toilet paper roll holder, nowhere to put shower items, etc. it was basically a room to sleep, not to have breakfast or hang out in. Maintenance of the outside was in need as everywhere covered in weeds- presentation could have been better. Bedding was musty smelling and limited choices of pillows to get comfortable.

Serena was a lovely lady and very helpful. Would go back.

Parking, it is right outside the property but getting to the right place was a bit difficult. Serena helped and we parked fine in the end.

Short stay

WE enjoyed our stay at II Giardino di Riomaggiore Suite. The room was a very good size and modern with a large bathroom. The property was situated a bit of a walk from the beach but gradually uphill. It was not far from restaurants and cafes. The room was very comfortable and the host was easy to contact and very obliging.

Room was spacious, clean, modern. Outdoor sitting area for two people. Away from the busy, noisy area at the top end of Riomaggiore. Serena was a great host. Loved this accomodation. Rate it 5 star.

If you like walking up and down and do not care about the basement, it is good for staying here.

It is a house with parking spots, so it is very good to go there by car (do not need to carry the suitcases).

The aircondition was noisy, the room is in the basement and it has not connection with the balcon. The beach is not 350 m far, but more.

Warmest welcome we ever received! The location was incredible, right in Riomaggiore, not far away from the train station, which made travelling very easy. The place itself was absolutely charming! We had everything we needed and more.

Loved Riomaggiore but not the accommodations

It was quiet. It was in a scenic location.

The room furnishings were very cheap. The edges of the floor were dirty. Hair along the edges. After climbing all the way up the hill with our luggage we were told there was a truck we could have hired for our luggage. It would have been nice if that had been in the instructions. The pictures on Booking.com make the room look better than it is. The room floral scent was overpowering.

Wonderful stay

We just stayed for one night, but would definitely book again if we return to Riomaggiore — this time for a longer stay! . Communication before arrival was without any problems and we had a very friendly and welcoming pick-up by Serena. The room is just as shown in the pictures: very comfortable bed, the AC worked well and the bathroom was modern and looked newly renovated. So all in all, we loved it!

Lovely place in Riomaggiore

The apartment is really close to the center of Riomaggiore and the train station. Nice and clean room and a place to park the car. We had a nice stay for 3 days.
