    The first night we arrived, it was late and raining, so we were happy to get there, but there was a power cut. The safe and fridge didn’t work and the kettle was broken but worked and the balcony door wouldn’t close, and there was no shower gel or shampoo and no bedding on the bunk bed, however they did make us a meal. Next day we went out for the day, only to return to our room and it hadn’t been cleaned, our plates etc were still there and beds etc hadn’t been made and no clean towels, terrible , and still nothing had been fixed and WiFi was intermittent. They said they had to have permission from us to clean the room, so we gave them permission, it was done. They replaced the fridge and the safe, but balcony door, bedding for bunk and kettle wasn’t done. Still WiFi intermittent. Part of the problem was they are building a new hotel next door, so that was their main interest, and hopefully that will be a success

    The room is filled with very unpleasant smell that could make you feel like you’re staying in a dump yard. There are rats everywhere! When complained about it, we’re upgraded to a suite which looked better initially until we found leeches and earthworms moving around, not to mention the foul smell continued there as well, very scary experience especially during the nights. When shared the pictures and videos to the manager, they simply ignored it and did nothing. The only positive was the breakfast, which tasted decent and the serving staff were very polite.
