    The only issue i have here is the AirCon directly hit the bed … my 1st day i couldnt sleep. After that i cober the aircon with my t shirt Oh another thing is, the pillow only one … hope i could get at least 2 pillows.. Thank for the helpful host anyway.

    I mistaken the owner’s name as Steven and only on the last day as I was departing that I realised his name was Mike! Yet, despite my mistake, he was very friendly and helpful and hospitable. He answered my questions promptly even months ahead before my arrival. The room was great. Minimal, but very comfortable and VERY VERY CLEAN. I am a bit fussy when come to cleanliness. The bed, mattress, aircond everything worked out nicely for us. There is no crowd and checking in was a breeze. So we were able to rest very quickly after a long travel. I must say, the shower was amazing!! Water pressure was strong and I could just stand there for long long long time.. There were a lot of food in the area. One can never go hungry. Can easily pack and eat in the room also. The only thing that disturbed us which was not the fault of the owner, was the grilling work done in the neighbourhood. Ground floor was doing some reno works, so the grilling did disturb us a bit. Oh and on the last day, I asked for late check-out and the owner allowed for us to do so, with no additional charge. In fact, he was very friendly to give us that additional hour, which worked out perfectly well for us. Otherwise, we have nowhere to go for an hour. Yes, I highly recommend, and I will come back again if I were to go to Penang again.

    Well it seems minor but I went into shower expecting there was soap and there isn’t a drop left so I dunno if I should go out and spend money on one bottle of soap for something I paid for…otherwise the staff was helpful with check in and overall cleanliness was great.
