    We recently stayed at the Landison Hotel Penang and had an absolutely wonderful experience. From start to finish, the staff went above and beyond, they are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist with a smile. The hotel offers fantastic amenities that make a long or short stay highly convenient. We were incredibly impressed by their self-service laundry room, which even has detergent thoughtfully provided for guests! It saved us so much hassle. The indoor swimming pool is beautiful, pristine, and perfect for a relaxing evening swim regardless of the weather outside. Another major highlight was the daily breakfast buffet; instead of the usual repetitive hotel spreads, the menu was fresh and different each day, offering great variety and delicious local flavors. The rooms are modern, exceptionally clean, well-equipped, and comfortable. We highly recommend Landison Hotel to anyone visiting Penang, the exceptional hospitality and thoughtful amenities make it a true standout!

    My spouse and I recently stayed at the Landison Hotel Penang, and as an elderly couple with some mobility difficulties, we could not have asked for a more comfortable and accommodating experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly helpful, patient, and kind. They consistently went out of their way to ensure we could navigate the hotel easily and always greeted us with genuine warmth. Their exceptional service truly gave us peace of mind throughout our stay. The hotel amenities are exceptionally well-thought-out. The self-service laundry room is highly convenient and even has detergent provided, which saved us from carrying extra supplies. We also loved the beautiful indoor swimming pool area, which is perfect for a relaxing dip without worrying about the outdoor heat or weather. Another highlight was the breakfast. Instead of the same repetitive food, the menu was delightfully different each day, featuring a wonderful variety of delicious, fresh options that we looked forward to every morning. Our room was modern, pristine, and very comfortable to move around in. We highly recommend Landison Hotel to fellow seniors or anyone looking for a stay defined by true care, accessibility, and stellar service.

    We arrived at 5:00 PM—two hours after the official 3:00 PM check-in time—only to be told that our room was still undergoing final cleaning. After waiting, we were eventually given our room keys and checked in. The real issue started shortly after. We left the room briefly to collect our luggage, and when we returned, we found another group of guests inside our room, and our room key cards had been deactivated. Reception could only offer a vague explanation of a “possible system error.” This is a serious breach of guest privacy and security, not a minor inconvenience. We were fortunate that we had only stepped out for a few minutes. Had we been away longer, we could have returned to find strangers in our room with access to our personal belongings. What is most disappointing is the hotel’s handling of the situation. There was no clear explanation, no sense of accountability, and no meaningful compensation offered for an incident that should never have happened in the first place. Delayed check-in is one thing, but assigning the same room to multiple guests is a major operational-shorten failure and raises serious concerns about guest safety and security.
