Aqua Apartment 2

It was all great. Good for small family. Sunny courtyard. Proximity to beach and cafes.

The only disappointment was that the listing said there was a DVD player but there wasn’t. I know many people have a Netflix account but I don’t and had brought kids and DVDs with me. The agency dropped a player off but there was no HDMI cable to fit it. Just need to update the listing accordingly as I could have sorted out alternatives if I had known.

Couldn’t get car down driveway as it is steep (scraped underneath) so had to park on street

Awesome location - a few steps away from the shops & cafes, 5 minute stroll to the beach. Property had everything we needed to be comfortable and we appreciated the provision of linen & towels and kitchen basics. Great WiFi which was essential as I had to work some of the time. The patio area was nice to have - we had sunny lunches there.

Dishwasher didn’t clean anything. We could clearly hear everything in unit 4’s bedroom from our bed as soon as their young child woke up around 5.30am! We hadn’t planned on waking up to the singing of nursery rhymes and happy birthday. I spoke to a member of the property management staff about both issues after 2 nights and she couldn’t have cared less. Didn’t apologise or bother to write anything down or even say she would follow up. I felt like an intrusion on her time rather than a valued customer unfortunately. No Vodafone (or Virgin) mobile network (although one of the pre-stay emails had that info buried in it). Telstra was fine.
