The location is perfect and the surroundings are beautiful. However, access to the beach is 20-25 minutes walking unless you drive and then it is only 3-5 minutes. Parking at the beach access was easy with the permit provided with the rental. The layout of the place, the furniture, and the appliances were nice, convenient and functional, except of for the issues mentioned below. Parking is easy and convenient, despite the description of the unit indicating unclear and contradictory things about parking.

For a stay of 13 nights, we got the same dishwasher soap or washing machine soap that you would expect for 5-7 days. When we asked for more, we rapidly got them. We also asked for some sheets and towels to replace the initial ones after some days, but we never got any. One would expect that at least one cleaning per week in the 13 night period to be included but we were not even offered it. The mattress is too soft and the pillows very basic. We got some back and neck pain as a consequence. The number of plates, bowls, glasses, cups is barely enough for 4 people for one day. There were no tableclothes or table mats. It looks as if the owner tries to make money, a very legitimate endeavor, saving costs rather than trying to get higher revenues. They charged us for cleaning... but one to be done once we left the premises. Although we know that is extended practice to show this in vacation rentals, we argued with management of the premises that we should not be charged for keeping their business operational, as is the cleaning between stays. Hotels do not do it and they have to clean too. In addition, it contributes to confussion.

Location.. we love the Evian!

It lacked some amenities that other properties in the Evan have (books/board games/ beach chairs) I also didn’t like the back porch furniture.

Right on the water and the golf course, and a 10 minute walk to the private beach. New carpeting, well-equipped renovated kitchen. Easy to check in. Nicely furnished. Patio furniture consisted of two chairs and one chair that needs to be thrown in the garbage. The patio is small but the addition of at least one lounger would be nice. A BBQ would also be a nice addition. The flat screen TVs do not have access to Netflix or other such services, but the weather was glorious and we were not there to watch TV.

The house is fantastic, offering all the amenities you could possibly need for a comfortable stay.

The washer and dryer needed extra cleaning.
