Gorgeous, cosy cottage right on the canal-side. Very comfortable and perfectly located for sight-seeing in Warwick. A visit to the pub next door is a must - great selection of beers, lovely staff and delicious food (with good vegan and veggie options).
As a historic cottage it is quite small and there is a lack of daylight/fresh air on the ground floor. Otherwise it is perfect!

It was next to a very nice pub that served lovely meals!

Handy location with parking in pub next door.
House was clean and tidy & there was plenty of hot water.
Staff in pub were very helpful. Bonus having money off the bill in the pub too!
The house was really drafty & although there were some radiators the heating was programmed and not on for long. Friday was a very colld day & it did not get much above 5 degrees.
Arrival time was given several weeks ago so it would have been nice to have arrived at a warm cottage rather than have to wait hours for the place to warm up.
I think a heavy thick curtain behind the front door would help stop the draft and also one between the lounge & kitchen area too.

Very quirky. Brilliant location next to canal and pub. Staff in pub very helpful.
It’s a cottage and the stairs are steep.

Location was perfect, cottage had everything needed and was a central location to where we were travelling to (different locations each day), and the perfect location right next door to the pub which had an excellent beer selection and served good food.

Lovely location. Great pub/restaurant right next door. Private space to sit in front of the cottage. Many nearby attractions. When the Wi-Fi didn't work, the owners arranged a different connection. The restaurant/pub staff were very helpful, friendly and efficient. It had everything we needed, well equipped kitchen, nice shower and the beds were very comfortable. One bedroom has a super view of the canal. We appreciated being able to park in the private car park.
Would have liked somewhere nearby to get breakfast. The local cafe was shut over the weekend and bank holiday. But there was a small supermarket fairly nearby. A traditional cottage, this property has steep stairs - two sets - which may not appeal to everyone. Right on the canal bank, so I would think twice if I had small children but it was fine for us.

Beautiful old cottage right on the canal side next door the The Cape of good Hope pub.
Quirky and handy for walking in to Warwick or popping for a pint and bit to eat, food also amazing.

Quaint little cottage on the canal, superbly decorated, great ambiance with very friendly pub next door. Pub catered for Coeliac disease.
Some of the crockery was chipped and table collected crumbs in the grooves - as a Coeliac this was difficult to avoid cross contamination.

Lovely canal-side location with an adjoining pub.
Nice little cafe up the road (5 minute walk) for a reasonably-priced cooked breakfast.
Steep stairs to both the first and second floor bedrooms.

Great location for the town and nice to be on a canal, right next door to the pub. Cottage very cute and had character.
Bedside lights could have done with a dusting, the rack in the grill was missing and think the remote needed batteries but it didn’t spoil our stay, I’m sure the staff would have sorted it all for us as they was friendly and helpful but we was hardly in.

Fabulous location and the pub next door was friendly and served great food.
Better lighting in the kitchen, but otherwise it was great

Lovely canal side cottage adjoining the pub next door - no need to cook at lunch time or in the evening as you could just order food from there. Small garden in front of cottage (also adjoining pub garden area) with chairs and table provided so you could sit outside and watch canal traffic. The cottage is small but quaint and was ideal for the purpose of our stay. Quiet location easily within 30 minutes walk to the city centre. Although stairs were slightly steeper this was expected in the cottage. Excellent hosts - very helpful. Also free parking. I stayed with a friend for a couple of nights whilst attending an event at Warwick Castle (which we walked to and from) and to see a little of Warwick and we required a bedroom each. The bedrooms were a good size and the beds were very comfortable.

location was brilliant it was lovely to wake up and see the canal on the door step. pub next door was fab too!
it was very dark downstairs in kitchen and living area as the window in kitchen is blocked making it feel very dark and gloomy

Pub next door had good atmosphere and reasonably priced tasty food.
No complaints from me 👍

very quaint cottage with comfy bed and fabulous shower.
not much space to prepare even making tea as hard as limited work surface…. but who cooks on holiday especially when pub next door does good food

We had a great time in Warwick. All the sights are in walking distance of the cottage and the pub next door is very welcoming with a good menu and good beer choice. It was interesting to be by the canal and locks to watch boats going through.
It was all great. You need sturdy boots or wellies if you plan to walk along the muddy, wet towpath.

The location couldn't have been better. Attached to a pub and right on the canal front. Boats, ducks and beer in abundance. The pub was friendly and the food was excellent. Having a 10% discount on every drink/food purchase was a real bonus. Outside seating area would be great in the summer.
The stairs to the bedrooms were a little too steep, especially for the elderly parents and the living room area was smaller than expected with not so comfortable seating. Please note that there are noisy fans from the pub cooling systems attached to the cottage outside wall. We ignored it but if you are sensitive to noise this could cause a problem.

Location and pub next door. Great place to relax. Sky TV and WiFi too.
Lovely to sit out in your own space watching the world go by.
Had a leak from the boiler. These things happen and it was dealt with, but it did put a (literal) dampener on our first night.
Watch out for very steep stairs to top bedroom. Not for you if you have any mobility issues

Canalside is very nice.. but didn't know how to access footpath along the canal.
Pub food excellent and was nice touch to have a discount staying in cottage.
Bedlinen nice, white perfect.
Just 5 minutes from Warwick Town centre and Castle.
Looked better on the website, on arrival was in middle of housing/industrial estate. Cottage, Sofa uncomfortable, glasses etc dirty in cupboard, cooker hood fell of wall Tuesday, not repaired when left on Thursday. Bathroom Suite looks tired. Small outside space needs cleaning, weeding etc, table and chairs worn.
Pub Exit fan from kitchen sent smells and noise into courtyard and alot of noise in bedrooms.
Rear storage area behind cottage kitchen window, could hear people in and out was a little off putting.
Door latches not working on bedroom or bathroom doors.
Welcome handbook needs replacing and updating.

Location
It’s an old cottage and the stairs were a bit hard

A cosy cottage in a pleasant location next to the canal and pub with decent food and beer.
Sadly the pub owners have relocated air conditioning units so that they are directly besides the bedroom windows . This means together with noisy patrons and these units switching on and off randomly a good night’s sleep is all but impossible!
A glitch with the booking.com website meant we paid twice for an extra guest , this made the whole price .. poor value for money.

Very cute historic cottage. Literally on the canal side. Own private patio with table and chairs next to the pub with nice food and friendly service. Coffee machine. Nice walks along the canal
If you have small children it might not work as there are steep stairs. Gas oven is a little old

Perfect little cottage for our family of 4 with space for a travel cot. Very cute and very homely, with lovely views of canal and boats, with convenience of family friendly pub next door, with delicious and extensive menu. Fabulous location to explore Warwick and visit castle. Highly recommend.
