Very cute bottom floor apt! Kinda disappointed the lights in the bedrooms were not ceiling fans. The TV in the living room needs to be way bigger kinda hard to watch a 12 inch TV. Otherwise I’d give the place an A the location is good. The pool and area was very nice easy access to the beach. plenty of chairs for the pool checking in was a breeze checking out was a breeze IHOP in walking distance surf and style right next-door was convenient. 711 in walking distance was very nice and convenient.. I would rent that vrbo out again although the downfall is being so close to the road, and the road is so busy and loud at night when you’re trying to go to sleep.

The communication with the owner/property owner was amazing. She responded quickly to several questions I had. The house overall was great for us however the location leaves a lot to be desired. No fault to the property owner but there’s a motel across the street and the occupants were very sketchy to the point that we felt unsafe to walk our dog at dark. You also have to cross a busy street to get to the beach but it wasn’t that hard to do.
There were people staying in the top level of the house and when they are walking around you can definitely hear it from the bottom unit.
We arrived to Daytona a couple of hours earlier than we expected so I made a call to the front office just to ask if there was any possibility that the house would be ready before check-in which was 4:00. The girl working the front desk was extremely rude on the phone. We were told checkin was 4:00 which is fine because that’s what we were expecting anyway. We got to the hotel at 3:45 and my husband went in the check in, she rudely told him that check in wasn’t until 4:00 and he would need to come back. At 4:15 I went in and there was another couple in the office. When I walked in she told me rudely again that I would need to step outside until they were done. Once they were done I went in and asked why I was rudely told to step outside and she said because of COVID. There were no signs on the door instructing you to do that. I told her my name and she, once again, rudely said the house wasn’t ready even though it was after 4:00. I rudely asked her back when it would be ready and she said “that’s a good question”…she made a phone call and figured out the house was ready. Not a good first impression for people checking in.
Overall it was a good trip but I wouldn’t highly recommend it.
