My family enjoyed it! It is a very short walk to the beach. The restaurants are within walking distance. The house was clean. The only thing that should be changed is the living room set. It smelled funny. Other than that, our stay there was great!

2018 was our second time to rent this house. We first rented in 2017. We will be renting again in 2019. We found the house clean, and very comfortable. The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are roomy and very clean. Closet space is fine. The kitchen is roomy, and has an open space concept shared with the dining area and living room area. There is a nice big screen TV in the wall, and is easily viewed by those in the dining and living room area. It is on the cable network, and has all the programming one would expect.
It has a very nice washer and dryer , located in the garage. It is in a very nice and quiet area, and is very convenient to grocery, shopping, and dining facilities. Access to the beach is very convenient. There is a covered patio, and very nice back yard, along with a grill. The property manager is very friendly, and responsive. It provided us with a great experience, and we are looking forward to another stay in 2019!

This house was perfect for our memorial day weekend getaway! Not only was it across the beach (walking distance) but 15 minutes to the Main Daytona Beach Pier and 25 minutes to our favorite tiki bar, Chase's By The Beach in New Smyrna. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean! I'd definitely stay again.

When we booked the property I was a bit concerned due to the rating but it was less expensive than some of the other properties and our group was in agreement they wanted to book this house so we went for it.
PROS... the house seemed tidy and clean. There were dishes provided as stated and the beds were comfortable. Bathrooms were clean and there was plenty of hot water for a nice shower.
I spoke to the Contact Host the night before we were to arrive and she went over check-in and our code to get in.
We arrived a little later than expected so we were not able to really see the back yard area until the next day or to really pay attention to any details since we basically went to bed.
The backyard had ample space and was nicely fenced and landscaped though the grass was a little thick and the patio got soaked when it rained Friday night due to leaks. We did not use the firepit but it was a nice addition to have.
CONS...We could not get the televisions in any of the 3 bedrooms to operate. I contacted our Contact Host through the VRBO app as well as by texting directly but we did not receive a text back. Also we did not see the WIFI code clearly displayed anywhere; my husband looked at the router and figured it out but still it would have been nice to have received a response. It was Thanksgiving so I let it go until Friday. I messaged again on Friday and still got no response.
There were only 2 towels in the master suite and we were there for 4 days. It would have been nice to have an extra set of towels on hand.
I did not see any instructions on how to check-out so we did the usual and left the beds unmade, put the towels in the floor, ran and unloaded the dishwasher, took out the trash and locked everything when we left.
I am used to having a book or clear instructions on how to check in , check out etc. so that is a suggestion for next time.
We have stayed in many VRBO and private rentals. This was not the worst but not the best. Maybe if we come again we will give it another try.
