Lovely comfortable cottage close to the beach and beautiful walks.

Comfy, good location

Good location, cottage was well equipped, very clean.

We struggled with the bathroom, having no shower cubicle, although in fairness we were informed there was no shower cubicle. We're all elderly and getting in and out of the bath was a challenge!

A very pleasant visit, would book again.

Location was wonderful, car parking not an issue. It was very quiet and comfortable. (Despite storm Amy) Convenient for Harbour Station and the Bygones Weekend.

The bath/shower was hard work having only used a shower for many years. A freezer compartment would have been handy. A bloke thing....the loo seat would not stay up! Cottage folder a bit out of date (picky!)

Nice little house close to the sea

A nice little house close to the sea. Basic but comfortable. Excellent starting point to explore the region.

Essentially nothing. The entries to bathroom and toilet are very low but you get used to it.

Fantastic holiday cottage, very pretty and comfortable.

The house was located just a few minutes walk from the bay. It was a typical cottage with a few low door frames which could easily be ducked under if you are tall. The kitchen was well equiped with all the cutlery, crockery and cooking pans you would need for a stay, even a washing machine. The landing at the top of the stairs was on a single step difference in height, but a motion sensitive night light was provided so you could find your way at night in the dark. Our favourite place was the back garden, a real sun trap, and very quiet.

We liked everything, however if you were tall you might have a problem with the low door frames.

We loved our stay!

We loved every minute...I have two autistic sons and they loved the environment and the space..it was clean and spacious enough for the three of us. It was centrally located and a perfect position for my son who loved the steam railway close by. The host was very fast and responsive and made our stay a great experience! Had a brilliant week in the sun in Wales! Will most definitely stay again...5 stars!

The guest house was a great little property. It was very clean and had everything we needed. It was a great base for our exploring. And just a short walk to the beach for beautiful sun rises.

Great stay at a small cottage

It was a very nice cottage in a lovely village, close to the beach. There were two bedrooms upstairs, a very nice kitchen, and very clean. The TV had Netflix. There's also a very nice backyard.

Toilet and shower were very low, with small doors.

Loved Borth-y-Gest

The property is very well maintained and everything is up to a high standard. We had the whole house for two of us and we thought it was great. Although the weather was fine and hot, the house kept its cool. The location was just what we wanted for our needs with smashing walks to some impressive local beaches and into town, where we discovered the railway (honestly didn't know it was there!). The primary reason for staying here was to visit Portmeirion, which is a must. To quote one visitor "Its barmy!"

A very cosy and homely cottage. The communication and instructions from Scott prior to our holiday gave us all the information we needed for a straightforward check in. It was nice to see the family photos on display.

Excellent location. Lovely cottage had what we needed.

The bathroom would benefit from a shower curtain so you can shower in peace without stressing about water going everywhere. There was a seperate toilet which is fine but it would be ideal if there was a sink to wash hands straight after - it's so much more hygienic than having to touch door knob and washing hands in bathroom.

The Location was great . The house was very clean and had everything we needed.The bed was very comfortable. All in all we had as smashing time. We Will definitely be coming again. 😊❤️😊

It is a lovely cosy cottage but does need more attention - needing a good spring clean.

The strong musty smell in the bathroom and dirty bath mat. Kitchen cupboards also had an unpleasant smell. Bedding not ironed. Cobwebs around the cottage especially in the entrance.

Communication with owner misleading. I asked specifically about towels to be told to was all taken care of. When we arrived there were no towels and the owner then said they wouldn't provide them
