Overall, a lovely home from home in a quiet, peaceful area.
Lovely home with clearly a lot of thought from the hosts into providing everything guests may need.
Although well equipped, the house looked a bit tired. In terms of cleanliness, the house would benefit from slightly more attention to detail, as there was staining on cushion covers (living room) and mould present in bathroom.

Really nice cottage, well decorated and with all amenities (except towels!!)
Location perfect. Just the right size accommodation for our group.
Two problems - the front door stuck so it was almost impossible to pull open from the inside. We thought we were imprisoned. Serious problem was that towels were not provided. This was not made clear on either the Booking.com or the Sykes Cottages sites. Generally we expect towels to be provided on Booking.com properties. As it was, we had to go out and buy 5 new towels from Tescos at 7 pm. Lucky it was close by and still open! Not a great start to our stay.

The location was a perfect base for us to explore Wales. House had all amenities/home comforts, was easy to find, had parking and was within driving distance of supermarkets/petrol station.

A Wonderfull place to relax or as a base for touring the region.
We had a fabulous stay here, we travel a lot so know how good this is. A very welcoming house, it reminds us of beach houses in Australia that we stay in. The position is very good for touring the region, with no where more than an easy drive away. Light and airy, cosy and comfortable for our winter stay. Off street parking and some lovely local walks. Easy to find. Suggest following their directions, sat nav will not bring you to the house
