Beautifully French Rustic Gite, back in time.

The Gite is benefits from 2 x bedrooms, one a large family room with super-king size bed, 2 x single beds and en-suite shower room. This is a large light airy room that can be divided buy curtains, separating the single beds from the double sleeping facility. The second bedroom is situated upstairs, the old beams, cartwheel banister, large antique four poster bed, and en-suite has lots of unusual character and charm. The kitchen is cottage style and 2 tier with the upper tier being the lounge area. Outside there is a large round table for alfresco dining. This Gite is comfortable, and offers lots of French charm.Character, charm and comfort in a tranquil setting await you. Maintained to a high standard and very well appointed in a lovely rural setting, gardens, swimming pool, fruit & walnut trees, flowers, field, fishing lake await you. In the summer we are surrounded by a mass of lovely sunflowers which is a spectacular sight. Local markets, fresh produce, fine wines, fabulous restaurants make this area a 'must visit'. Long quite roads for cycling, (for the extremely energetic cyclists check out the routes and kms on the Pays De Duras tourist website which offer routes to take), woods and tails for walking or horse riding, lakes for fishing and rivers for kayaking, petanque, boule, bocce and sun beds for the less energetic there is something for everyone in this unspoilt part of South West France. If you are a shopaholic then Bordeaux, (an hours drive) boasts the longest retail high street in Europe.
As an added bonus for 2017 we are now able to offer not only carp fishing in our own lake but also a day/s with an experienced french carp fisherman around 4 of the most stunning lakes in the area boasting carp of up to 15-28 kgs.

THE GITE - is a character larger property, suitable for a family of four holidaying with the grandparents may be. It has a king size four poster bed upstairs, a super king size bed and 2 large twin beds in the family downstairs bed room. The Kitchen is quaint with low ceilings, and a mezzanine sitting room overlooking the kitchen. Outdoor eating area.
For guests interested in Mindfulness we are a short car drive/ bike ride from Plum Village the Buddhist monastery also know as Hamlet which offer scheduled Day of Mindfulness, which one of their Dharma Teachers will lead you through, well worth experiencing.
