About this villa rental
Pack your suitcase and bring your flip flops!!! CASA Elena is located at the north end of the much sought after private gated community in Phase 2 of Playacar. LOCATION is what it is all about. This recently renovated villa is located in the VILLAS DEL MAYAB community. This community is the closest group of villas to Playa del Carmen, the Caribbean Sea and even the ferry to Cozumel.
Playa del Carmen is south of Cancun Mexico and host to many shopping areas and restaurants. The famous 5th Ave. is just minutes away from the Villa and your pick of many restaurants are also within walking distance.
Enjoy all the luxuries of home. Throughout this villa, you will find beautiful polished limestone floors and beautiful artwork. The main floor has FIVE Patio doors that allow the nice Caribbean breeze to blow through the villa. There is also a sunken area that contains the living room with a flat screen color T.V. and two DVD players (American and Mexican), DVDs, CDs and a bar. The bar separates the living and dining areas. Custom designed kitchen with granite counter tops, eat-in breakfast counter, newer appliances, cookware, utensils. Full bath located on the ground floor and a laundry room with a washer and dryer, small cooler, wheeled grocery bag, one boogie board, beach bags, beach umbrellas and 4 beach chairs.
Take advantage of this perfect climate and BBQ your meals outside on the provided Weber grill and enjoy your meals out on the private patio with access to the common grounds.
The second story has two master bedrooms with king-sized beds and a third bedroom with two twin beds. All the bedrooms have their own outdoor terrace and full bathrooms. The children’s bathroom even has a jetted bathtub.
A private tennis court and swimming pool area are also within our community. The swimming pool area has lounge chairs and a Palapa with seating. There is also wifi available just in case you want to “go Live” on Facebook and make all your friends and family jealous of your location.

I stayed at Casa Elena for two weeks in July 2021 and it was amazing!! This house is spacious, comfortable, well maintained, and wonderfully located. I went with my three kids and my niece and nephew age range 21-16 and we had blast!!! We all slept very comfortably, the mattresses were great, the a/c was wonderful, the shower pressure was amazing, the kitchen was fully equipped. It's wonderfully located less than a 10 minute walk to the beach, and 5 minute walk to shops, restaurants, and a shopping mall. My daughter and I shopped so much that the sales people knew our names (a little embarrassing)!! Tara and Luis, the property managing couple, were amazing, helpful, available, and so so supportive with anything I needed. The pool is steps away from the house and the gated community is great for walking, a morning jog, or tennis. The Playa Del Carmen area is great with tons of stuff to do!! We went to Xcaret, rented a boat in Cozumel to go snorkeling and fishing, went to the cenotes, snorkeled with seas turtles, and bought too many tequila bottles. We also went to Tulum and did a 2 hour mud massage at the Mayan Clay Spa which was absolutely amazing!! I highly recommend this house it's private, beautifully decorated and the bar was so much fun. I left a recipe for Mojito's at the bar in the house. My son makes the most amazing Mojitos and the mint and limes in Mexico are super flavorful which made them even better!! Thank you so much Keith and Elena, we hope to come back.

This house is perfectly located in Playa del Carmen, right off of a golf course in a big gated community just south of the center of the city. Very close to a big super market by the highway. The pool is nice and very close. The walk to the beach is short and manageable. We don't really love the beaches in Playa del Carmen in general, so we weren't that concerned with being right on the water. The house is thoughtfully stocked with everything you would need. You can tell the owners have spent enough time there to know what people will need when they come to visit. We loved it. Everything was perfect.

Casa Elena is in a great location, walking distance to the beach, the famous 5th avenue shopping in Playa De Carmen, and numerous restaurants to enjoy. Public transportation was easy and short walk from the villa. The villa itself was beautiful, the pool and tennis courts are right outside of the villa. The villa had all the amenities of home and then some. Tara and Luis, the property managers, welcomed us like we were old friends! They were awesome! We visited Mayan ruins in Tulum, which was very beautiful and interesting to learn about Mayan people. We walked to a small public beach, where the locals go, and had a delicious lunch and swam in the ocean and enjoyed the beautiful beach. We also visited a bird sanctuary, which was a very short walk from the Villa. I have to say this vacation was one of our best! We've been to a few resorts there, they were nice, but staying at Casa Elena was a new adventure! Definitely will go back!!!
