About this house rental
This Mexican colonial is directly off the 4th tee of the world-class Robert Von Hagge designed Hard Rock Golf Club in the gated community of Playacar. This newly remodeled villa is a short walk to the south end of Playa’s famous 5th Avenue with, shops, cafes, restaurants, and beach clubs. It’s also an 8-minute walk to the beach or to the Cozumel ferry. A short cab ride will take you to several supermarkets where you can get your libations and food at local prices.
Within Playacar, you are an easy walk to restaurants, shops, convenience stores, the golf club and a newly opened shopping mall.
The first floor has a powder room, laundry room, and one bedroom, with double bed. Guests can gather in the gourmet kitchen with dishwasher, stainless steel appliances, and granite counter top. The dining and living areas overlook the pool, garden, and golf course.
Enjoy a drink under the covered poolside deck and watch golfers as they tee off.
The second floor has two bedrooms, each with one queen bed. They share a talavera bathroom with granite counter and walk-in shower. The master suite with a king bed and lounging area extends to a large palapa- covered terrace with seating for your morning coffee or late-night libations. It has its own private bathroom with large glass-enclosed shower and granite counters.
Guests have access to a safe, two flat screen televisions with HBO and Netflix, free WIFI and telephone with free Mexico, US, and Canadian calling. All rooms have ceiling fans and mini-split air-conditioning. For those nights or mornings you choose to eat in, all the pots, pans, small appliances, glassware and dinnerware you need is included and in excellent condition. Car rentals are not necessary but if you choose to rent one there is plenty of off street parking. Maid and concierge service is available.
We also have Spanish, French, and English speaking bonded nannies available.

We just got back from a week long stay and we loved this place! There were 6 of us of all ages. There was more than enough room. The living area was comfortable and we really enjoyed the style and decorations throughout. The air conditioning worked well for each room. They supplied us with all of the essentials. It was a 10 min walk to 5th Ave, 25 min drive to Cenote Azul, 45 min drive to Tulum. Everyday we sat out back and enjoyed some wine and watched the wildlife. Ruben is fantastic! Incredibly nice and accommodating. Thank you for the lovely stay!

Our 4 year old really liked the bridge over the pool and the easy walks to the smoothie shop. The house was well set up for cooking.

The home and it’s amenities exceeded the description as given in the property listing. This secure home in a gated community was spacious , tastefully decorated with Mexican art, clean, well equipped and truly within a comfortable walking distance to the beach and Fifth Avenue. The rental rate for a home of this caliber and location on a golf course was most reasonable even in Canadian dollars! The forty foot long pool was cleaned and maintained almost daily. The spacious kitchen is more than well stocked with brand name implements. Access to in home laundry facilities made packing easier. We chose to use fans and windows more than airconditioning as cautioned and had no electrical additional charges. Ruben, the property manager, was most accommodating anticipating our needs or inquiries. The friendly owners provided us with many details of what to see, to do, or places to dine out should you desire.Having stayed at other rental properties in Playa on past vacations- this is on our best stay list!
