There was a keycode to unlock the door which we couldn't get to work. However, there was a key in a keysafe below it that we could use.

Nothing

We were a group of 7 friends and stayed at PARKHUIS for 4 nights. The house was very spacious: a ground floor with an open space kitchen, a bathroom and a very big room; the first floor was the living room; and the second floor consisted of a double bed room and then an open space with 2 double beds, a single bed and a bathroom. In our opinions, the best aspects of the house were the space, the first floor (which also included a terrace) and the location. The beds were very confortable and the water pressure on the showers was top notch. In the evening, the house got really warm which was very nice after a windy day outside.

There were some negative sides in our opinions. The major one was the cleaniness. The areas we used more, like the beds, sofa area and bathrooms were clean, but then the kitchen, appliances and most surfaces could use a deeper cleaning. It also had a lot of clutter that looked like it was left behind by other visitors - this might add some charm but doesn't contribute to this feeling of uncleaniness. The smell wasn't very nice on the ground floor bathroom too (sewer maybe?). The other important negative side for us was the lack of privacy. The second floor had room for 7 people to sleep in - 5 in the open space and 2 in the room, but then the bathroom was separate by walls and didn't have any doors. We thought it was manageable since we're very good friends but if you're going with people you're less at ease with it may become unconfortable. If you stay here and choose take a shower upstairs be careful not to drench everything - the water doesn't go down fast enough.

really cool property!! we loved the location and the place itself was really amazing and fun place for a group of friends to stay! the host answered any issues we had straight away.

The property is in amazing Ghent in the old town. The property is beautifully furnished and stylish.
