Skyline Flats Gent

Good location on the canal. It was clean and comfortable. Away from the insanity of the festival so it was quiet.

It was SO hot when we arrived because the window curtains were open when we arrived and the sun had been heat in git up all day. There was no AC so it was 29.5 degrees! Yikes. We were able to cool it down by opening all the windows and getting a cross breeze. It was a cool evening so we were fine. It would have been terrible in the heat wave last week! We were 4 people with three beds so we used the pull out couch which was not at all comfortable. It would have been fine if we were only 3 people.

View and location were great. The apartment layout also good. Free laundry when staying in the apartment!

There is no aircon. The flat was 28c + inside in the afternoons as the sun sets on the front of the building. We were also told there were no fans available.

Needs an update/rework of the rooms

I liked the location. This worked good for my purpose of being there. Easy access to main road I needed to get to work. I liked having parking just downstairs.

Parking was not guaranteed even after prepaying 310 eros for a 30-day day. I would come in at night from work during the weekend and the parking lot would be full. Laundry on site was advertised and promised, however the laundry machines are actually the neighboring hotels and did not work.
