Michael's Beach Place at Shoreline Ridge in Newport is a luxury oceanfront three bedroom, three bath condo located on the second level of the Shoreline Ridge complex. With elevator access and the condo itself being only one level, this vacation condo is the perfect choice for those who cannot navigate stairs easily. Spacious and nicely furnished, this condo is very peaceful with phenomenal views. This newly constructed condo has a beautiful kitchen with granite counter tops, fine cabinetry, stainless steel appliances and is fully stocked with all the utensils and dishware you could possibly need to cook and serve vacation or holiday meals. The open floor plan of the kitchen, dining room and living room leads way to expansive windows and decks with fabulous views of the Pacific Ocean, the beach, Yaquina Lighthouse and Cape Foulweather. The living room has a gas fireplace for use on those chilly nights along with a flat panel TV. Wi-Fi is also provided for guests staying here. The primary suite with a queen bed has pristine ocean views, a door to the deck and a large bathroom with both a walk-in shower and a deep Jacuzzi tub. The guest suite comes with a queen bed and a full bath, along with its own sliding door leading out onto the deck. There is also a chaise lounge in this room so you can just snuggle up and read a good book if the mood hits you. The third bedroom has a twin-full bunk bed and a small desk. There is also an ocean view from this bedroom. The Shoreline Ridge Condos are just a short drive from the historic Nye Beach area of Newport that features many shops, cafes, art galleries and restaurants. Local beach access is just south of the complex. Come down to the Oregon coast today, and spend your much needed vacation in style!

The views were amazing, but this rental is neither ADA nor wheelchair accessible. Also, being asked to strip the sheets to find no mattress pad and a very stained mattress. Very gross! We won’t be staying here again.

Amazing views of the coast. Cleanliness was okay, we had some issues with the bath tub faucet and toilet seat. They were quick to send someone to check it out and the hosts were quick to respond to concerns.

It is hard to beat the location of this unit. Beautiful. The kitchen was well stocked with necessary appliances and dinnerware. Check in went well through VRBO when my email would not work. I would strongly suggest the owners provide a few more blankets. The top bunk bed had sheets and pillow but only a light weight throw available. One adult male who preferred to sleep on the couch rather than with another adult male had no blanket available at all. Blankets aren't expensive.

This is a beautiful property, with stunning views of the ocean and lighthouse. We had easy access to Nye Beach and the property ensured we had everything we needed to have family meals, and together time to play games or watch a movie. There were also enough bedrooms and bathrooms that we each had our own space for sleeping and getting ready.

Big storm the first night there and the power went out. Luckily we brought some flashlights and charged phones. Most rental homes do not have flashlights or lanterns. This house was no exception. Power was restored before morning. Beds were comfortable , views amazing, kitckwn qell stocked.

Great location near Nye Beach access, the shops and restaurants. The three bedrooms worked well for two elderly couples and our 2 grand children. Both had nice views of the coastline. We loved the balcony as well. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and equipment. Our only complaint was lack of cable TV. It was difficult or nearly impossible to get network television with "the game". Luckily we brought our laptop and and could stream the game that way. Would stay here again.

Loved the rooms and gorgeous ocean views in each room. Some stuff was a little bit in disrepair, but nothing major. Some other downsides were that there wasn’t an easy way to walk to the beach like I thought there would be and there was a homeless encampment down the embankment.

We recently stayed at this lovely beach condo and had an overall wonderful experience. The condo boasts a beautiful view that made our mornings truly special, and its great location provided access to the beach and local attractions and restaurants. The place was quiet and clean, offering a peaceful retreat from our busy lives. However, there were a couple of minor inconveniences. The master bedroom lacked blinds, which made it difficult to sleep past sunrise-- something many people like to do on vacation. Additionally, the glass on the deck was quite dirty, and my husband had to clean it himself to fully enjoy the beautiful view. Despite these small issues, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this condo to others seeking a serene beach getaway.

Very dissapointed there were no window coverings in the master bedroom, on windows or glass door that leads out to patio. We were able to see inside windows of neighboring condos Crockpot had mold inside and copper wires coming out of cord. Tv in master bedroom didn't work. To be fair, I left the crock pot and a note for housekeeper to make sure they were aware.

The place was nice. Kitchen was well stocked the master bath was amazing. The views were great! However, there were a few things that made us uncomfortable and is why I give only a 3 star rating. The master suite was surrounded in windows with a straight view to the bathroom , this would have been wonderful because the view was spectacular, however, this room NEEDS blinds or curtains to pull in at night. There was nothing but a straight view into the room. This was most UNCOMFORTABLE knowing that anyone could see straight in from the beach or neighbors. The beds, pillows and sofas were also very hard. I feel like all of these items warranted some attention. When walking down to the beach we found a hidden trail with what appeared to be a homeless camp. This made me a little nervous having 2 teenage girls with us. With those things being said the house was roomy and views were amazing, the fireplace was warm and cozy as our week there was mighty chilly.

This property is in an excellent location: looking at the Yaquina Bay Lighthouse (take binoculars) and on the bluff between Nye Beach to the south and Agate Beach to the north. We were able to hike down a rough trail from the condo to the beach, but opted to walk down the beach to an easy access at Nye Beach on the way back. We were minutes from shopping and restaurants. The best find for eating out was Nye Beach Café which made homemade bread everyday. The condo is well equipped for cooking, but in general, it is well loved. The couches are filthy (I put a blanket over them so we did not have to sit on the fabric), the paint is dinged and chipped everywhere and the windows do not seal - leaving it drafty. (It would not have mattered in the summer that fresh air came in from outside. However, it was winter and cold....it even snowed at the beach which was a bonus!). All in all, the location made up for any deficiencies, but I would have loved to give this property a 5-star rating in every category.

This property is an amazing location to stay. Can hear and see the ocean from all bedrooms and main area! Located centrally in Newport, so it's a short walk to many, many restaurants and shops in the town. Great set up for a family. Very clean and well kept property, with more than enough gadgets and dishes in the kitchen to make whatever your heart desires.

However, there were just a few details that would make the stay nicer. There were no extra blankets and only one on the beds. The kitchen needs baking sheets and a good frying pan. These are items someone would expect and not bring their own. To make it a luxury stay, provide quality towels and good bedding, including pillows. Other than that, the stay was fantastic!

BBQ wouldn't light and the grease was moldy. one shade in the master doesn't work and stuck down, chairs at kitchen table are really dirty. killer deck but man those chairs are giant, toss those and get some smaller ones, make that deck useable. Couldn't get the tv/cable to work (and 2 of use are media professionals). Can you add some pans? they are lame, at least go to goodwill and get some useable ones. Otherwise we had a great time, a little spendy though for what it lacked

The master bed has a flimsy blanket with a hole in it and there wasn’t a selection of extra bed linens to use. Just a worn throw blanket in the closet. I had to take the blanket from another bed. The view though can’t be beat, just beautiful!

Location and view, quality appliances, and spaciousness of condo were all as described. The few negatives are being noted as annoyances. There were dust bunnies under all beds and around perimeter of all rooms. There was only one small omlette size skillet. There was no chest of drawers in bunk bed room and there were only a few hangers in condo. There were not written directions on how to set up technology. Twice technicians had to be dispatched to assist with this pesky problem.

This space was great for our visit with our elderly & mobility-impaired parents & the location & view are amazing. The grills on the deck were much appreciated & used (both natural gas & charcoal). Elevator access was perfect. Accessibility was good generally, but grab bar by toilets & in showers were needed. Cleanliness, except for floors, was very good. The floors were not clean & obviously had not been for quite some time- lots of dust bunnies, dirty corners in all rooms, big sticky spots in kitchen. We had to wash the windows. Extra tools of toilet paper, paper towels & garbage bags, window cleaner would have been appreciated. Quite a few glasses were chipped. Definitely could have used an extra blanket for each bed. We did rearrange the living room furniture for our stay to better accommodate wheelchair & walkers. Upholstered sofas are decent but we needed more seating. Dining room table was great for 8 adults, although chairs were precarious for elderly parents. AAA batteries were dead in window remotes, but once replaced(& once we had out remote genius work on deciphering operation quirks) worked perfect- a quick guide to operation (laminated & posted) would have saved a lot of time. We did get the TV working, but again, a quick start guide would have been helpful. All in all, we would definitely stay here again., especially since we now know the quirks & features of the property.

The positives first: The property is right on the coast above the beach. It has great views to the north of the sea, coast and lighthouse. Both the layout and size of the property are excellent. The three bathrooms were clean and well-stocked. The elevator is a plus. Parking is easy. It is convenient to anything you might want to do in the Newport area. The negatives: The property is on land above the beach which is clearly eroding. The view to the immediate south of the building shows areas where the earth is falling away and older foundations are crumbling. The condo is not being kept up. The upholstery on the dining chairs is filthy, the upholstery on the living room furniture is also dirty and worn. One of the floor lamps has a broken shade and a couple of the overhead lights have burned out. The shade on one of the windows in the living room, facing the ocean, is broken and cannot be raised. As a result, the view is partially cut off. The floor was very dirty.

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We spent over $1300 for our stay in this unit. We stayed there a few years ago with a much better experience than this time. The view was unmatched from this unit but we found it had suffered since we were there last. I can forgive the minor housekeeping over-site but there were issues that made our stay a lot less than we had hoped.
1) the washing machine was unusable even with a small load
2)there were numerous and serious dents and scratches that might indicate a wheelchair user had stayed for some time. Some of these showed signs of very poor attempts to patch and paint them
3)The cover in the electrical connections to the lower element of the water heater was off leaving 220V live wires exposed.
4)The trim around the door in the second bedroom had been damaged such that a 1/2 gap was evident
5)A living room can light was not properly fixed in it's location
6) a kitchen drawer mysteriously had a cheese grater and a handful of UNO cards
7) The TV that I expected in the second bedroom was in the closet.
8) the complexity of the living room TV made it quite frustrating to use. None of the remotes pictured in the documentation were the same as the remotes that were present. Unlabeled wires on the television.
9)A screw was present on the floor near the guest bath. Indicating the most cursory of sweeping was not done.
10) Significant damage to the master bedroom door was present
11) A iron pipe of some sort was on the floor of the master closet
12)A piece of the refrigerator was missing on the door
13) a bracket on the bunk bed was completely loose from one of it's attachments.
14) there were no night stands in the second bedroom.
There was a forlorn power strip in the living room which gave the impression that whatever furniture was there and what had been plugged in had been recently removed.
15) the windows facing the ocean were reasonable clean except for the top 10" or so.
