A fantastic bluff top location in the heart of Newport close to the fine dining, shopping & activities of Historic Nye Beach & the Bayfront. Panoramic only begins to describe what the eyes take in from this spectacular oceanfront vantage point.

This 2,100sf contemporary oceanfront home is beautifully appointed to maximize both comfort & views. The living, dining & kitchen areas are on the upper level adjacent to an oceanfront sundeck, and many large picture windows take in the views. A high vaulted open beam ceiling & floor to beam rock fireplace accentuate the open yet cozy expanse, with a 52" LCD TV/DVD & free WIFI internet.

The kitchen is framed by a long granite countertop/bar and has all stainless appliances. A dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, blender, toaster are included along with all necessary utensils. A laundry room and 1/2 bathroom are conveniently nearby.

Three of the four bedrooms front the blue Pacific. A large Master Bedroom is on the upper level with access to the sundeck and includes a King Bed, TV/DVD & Master Bathroom with a jetted Jacuzzi tub. The other three bedrooms, two with Queen Beds and one with 2 Twin Bunkbeds are on the ground level along with a full bathroom.

There is also ample room for convenient off street parking for 4 cars.

we spent 8 glorious nightsat the Wow house! the view is so magnificent, tho a but chilly outside and windy nothing could take away from the beautiful views . Just bring a jacket! we enjoyed walks on the beach and our dogs loved it as much as we did. The house is comfortable and easy. just what we wanted for a family vacation . the beds were comfortable . The well equipped kitchen was perfect when we wanted to cook at home. We had a fabulous dinner at Clearwater restaurant , a day at the aquarium, a trip to the light house. my husband and grandson enjoyed golfing at the local course. we left refreshed and rested. just what we wanted.

We had an incredible stay! Like many others have mentioned, the views were absolutely amazing, and the kitchen was by far one of the best-stocked we've ever had in a vacation rental. Falling asleep to the sound of the ocean, easy access to the beach trail right out the front door, super comfortable beds, and a great layout—all of it was perfect.What really set this rental apart for me was the excellent communication with the owners. They were incredibly responsive and accommodating, even going out of their way to let us know when the home was ready a little early. That kind of thoughtfulness made a big difference, and we truly appreciated it. We will definitely be back!

The house is in a fantastic location, right next to a short trail to the beach, and a quick walk or drive to all the shops and restaurants of Nye Beach. The Aquarium and Newport waterfront are just minutes away. Communications with the owners before, during and after our stay were excellent. The house is very comfortable and the view is spectacular.

We enjoyed our stay at the Wow house. The location was private, yet close to Nye Beach, restaurants, and shops. The view from the great room was breathtaking, and it was just a short walk down the trail to the beach. The decor was fun and eclectic, the kitchen well-stocked, and plenty of beds and clean linens for a large family / group. The house needs some upgrades, but everything worked. Be sure to bring your own games / puzzles for those rainy days.

This is a great place! The neighborhood is quiet and convenient to restaurants and shops. The house furnishings are eclectic and the décor a bit kitschy but fun. Our hosts, Jim and Lana, were friendly, responsive and always helpful But the primary attraction, and the reason we'll be back, is the amazing views - WOW. . I highly recommend this beautiful retreat for a few days or a few weeks.

We had an amazing time at this beautiful house. The views were amazing and the house was clean and inviting. I’m disabled and because everything is on the upstairs level I had a hard time getting up and down the stairs and I guess I didn’t realize there were so many stairs. My mom is 85 and she was taking a shower in the downstairs bathroom and there is nothing to hold onto in the shower so she had to hold onto the toilet to get out of the shower so maybe put a safety bar somewhere around there. The one ply toilet paper was disappointing, but everything else was absolutely amazing and we highly recommend this property to anyone who wants a wonderful stay at the beach!

You could not ask for a better view! The walk down to the beach is right out the front door! Everyone was able to walk down and back up the trail ok, even the 5 year old. The house had everything you would need to cook meals, we cooked almost all of our meals there. There are three bedrooms downstairs with a bathroom and the main bedroom is upstairs with ensuite, and a half bath upstairs. The master is huge! There is plenty of sitting in the dining and living room. The beach is walkable both ways and is perfect for swimming, beach combing etc. The house is decorated so nicely, its very cute! We had an amazing stay!

The WOW House lived up to its name! It was a very good fit for us, our kids, our grandkids, and their dog. The path that leads right down to the beach from the front door was used often, rain or shine. It was also fun to have shops and several good restaurants only half a mile away in Nye Beach. On our last night there, after everyone else had gone home, we picked up some excellent Italian takeout from Sorella just so we wouldn't miss the beautiful sunset right out the living room window. WOW! The grandkids are already asking when we get to go back. Jim and Lana were great hosts.

As soon as we walked up the stairs to the main living area, everyone said "Wow" The kitchen has everything that you will ever need/want. The pantry is well stocked with spices, oil, aluminum foil and every type of pots and pans. Once seeing all of this bounty we ditched plans to eat at a restaurant and instead we did a quick shop at a nearby grocery store and cooked a nice prime rib dinner! Shopping, restaurants and gift shops are all located within two miles of the house. Rent this house, then you can thank me later.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The view and living area are immaculate! You can’t beat have the panoramic ocean view with the windows open. The decorations and vibe make you feel like you are in a different world. We were able to easily access the beach down the path right outside the home. Nye beach shops are a short walk away. We had all amenities for our toddler and enough items in the kitchen to have any meal prepared.

It was a wonderful weekend catching up with family and friends. One of us came from CA and one from Wisconsin. We all got together for the Seafood and Wine Festival. The house was great and the view was spectacular!! We will definitely come back again.

First of all I am in know way throwing shade on the house and the overall stay. I am just frustrated due to lack of communication AFTER we checked out. We did enjoy our stay and had great communication with Jim and Laura prior to the stay. It was just afterward when I had an issue that I feel like I am being ignored. We had a great time, the house was a typical beach house with lots of character and quirks. We loved it! The views were incredible, we expected a few odditiies and the house does have them. A few upgrades are in order but overall the time spent in the WOW house was everything we could have hoped for. Now, my experience has been somewhat soured as I find I left a few clothing items in the drawer in the master bedroom. it was a couple of weeks after we returned home - you know how it is - settling in, catching up on laundry, unpacking, putting away Christmas loot, work, etc. I realized I was missing clothes and figured I missed emptying one drawer. yes my fault, but one would think the cleaning staff would check for left items after EVERY check out and notify the owners. Apparently not, as I have reached out to Jim and Laura several times and just feel like nobody is interested in what happened to the items left. Were they thrown away, taken home by staff, donated? Value wise, I would say about $100 bucks. But it's the being ignored that bothers me. So we paid our money, we stayed, we are gone. No longer any value in maintaining a happy guest.

The pictures don’t do the property justice. The views consistently took our breath away. Walks on the beach or into town were easy and frequent. Our hosts were outstanding communicators and quickly responded to any inquiries we had. The fully-stocked kitchen made cooking a pleasure. We highly recommend visiting the Wow House!

We just so happened to be staying here during the big ice storm in January. Lost power for most of the stay, but the host was easy to access throughout the event telling us where we could find wood to burn and about the extra blankets etc. Overall a very well stocked home which is super nice, excellent views, and a large kitchen and table that comfortably seated 8 adults which was a huge plus. The Oregon coast is no stranger to wild weather and big storms, and it was apparent during the rainstorm that the wear and tear on the house has been slowly adding up with several leaks primarily around the fireplace. Overall, the house was clean though which is so important to us, as mentioned already, it was well stocked, a great and responsive host, and it had a fantastic view!!!
