Our 480 square feet Garden level space has a coffeemaker, microwave, and fridge plus a small cooking area, 1 bedroom with a queen size bed, and a living room with a queen size sleeper sofa, TV, and WIFI.

Enjoy the quiet ambiance of one of Vancouver's loveliest and safest neighborhoods. Take advantage of the proximity to downtown, UBC, golf courses, fine restaurants, grocery stores, shops, and the long stretch of beaches.
Shopping and bus stops in walking distance (2 Blocks away - Dunbar St. and McKenzie St.).
Just steps away is the beautiful Balaclava Park with playgrounds, baseball, and soccer fields - just down the back lane.

Situated minutes away you find the Pacific Spirit Park, a West Coast rainforest next to the city for walking or biking. You might also find your way down to Jericho Beach 10 minutes by car or walk along the seawall in Stanley Park to take in Vancouver's breathtaking views.

Kitchen worked well, had everything we needed for meals. There are a number of shopping districts nearby and it is close to UBC. Sascha and Robert, our hosts were available when we needed them and very pleasant and interesting to talk to. They have a lovely garden complete with friendly cat. The neighborhood is quiet and very walkable to some great hiking trails.

A lovely cozy place to stay in for a few days. Beautiful backyard garden & patio for lunch or tea, very private. Convenient location, close to everything. Parking was easy. Nicely decorated suite. Comfy bed though too soft, pillows too. We enjoyed our stay.

The hosts were great, in a fabulous neighbourhood! the place was small but nice and very clean. Super comfortable bed, great outdoor space, excellent location,. Easy to drive to and from. Groceries and tons of stuff close by with some fantastic walking trails nearby. I would for sure say there again!

Easy check in, very pleasant host who is extremely helpful, place as described.Clean and tidy nice little kitchen and sitting area, bed a bit soft for us. Bit of noise from creaking floor upstairs other wise quiet and safe. A little bit further out than I expected but buses are close by. Inside it is a little dark due to balcony overhead at the entrance. All in all a very nice place to stay.

Perfectly situated, close to the Pacific Spirit Regional Park and the cycling paths. The garden was gorgeous. Fynn, the cat, was around to say hello all the time. It was nice to chat with Sascha, who was very helpful.Thanks for everything.

Stayed here for access to UBC for son" s wedding ,but also to explore Richmond area and be close to ferry to Victoria or pop up to Stanley Park. All main routes easy to access and grocery store 3 min drive. Lots of closets and kitchen well equipped for cooking. Needs a littleore lighting in bathroom. Parking ample on street, and back access to to walkout basement was private and well lit. Great job!

Cosy and impressive. The retreat is a downstairs flat opening out to a pretty backyard garden - even squirrels and the friendly cat. Everything's provided and if you want anything just ask Sascha who is facinating as well. Her "Door" art and her artistic flair wraps around the retreat. We'd not hesitate to return.

We had a lovely time in this quiet and well-appointed ground floor cottage apartment that looks out onto the backyard greenery. Sascha was a welcoming host and we had everything we needed for a 5 day stay. The bed was super comfortable and there was storage space for our clothes and bags. It doesn't have a lot of natural light - if you were spending time there in the daytime it would be a bit dark. But if you're like us and out and about all day, the place is perfect. Thanks Sascha!

Neighborhood and property is beautiful. Fresh air, beautiful trees, easy access to walk to stores. Nice distance to downtown, beaches, mountain hikes, and ferry to the islands. I highly recommended staying here. Our host was great, and gave us good insights on what to do around the area.

This was the perfect getaway location for a girls reunion! Everything you need for a couple days away. Perfect backyard garden for a quiet dinner catching up one night and close enough to downtown for a fun night out. Super clean and comfortable. The VRBO was super clean and nicely appointed. I would recommend for singles/couples who want to sleep in the bedroom… the pullout couch is not a super comfortable place to sleep. But the unit is lovely and up to date. The actual bed is wonderful. The garden is very nice and I would highly recommend for anyone who wants to stay close to the city

It was such a treat staying here over staying in a hotel! The neighbourhood is lovely, parking is plentiful, the hosts left very detailed notes on the nearby amenities for your convenience! It was easy to get to from airport and easy to get to Vancouver General Hospital and downtown! It had a beautiful garden out back you can enjoy. Absolutely lovely and will stay there again if we can!

The accommodation was great for us! Small, but well equipped, quiet, clean. The garden was also great! We barely heard Sascha and her family upstairs. Sascha is super friendly and helpful. We were also able to check in earlier. We traveled by bus, so it's quite a distance from the city. But doable. Highly recommended!

We had a great stay at this property. Very comfortable in terms of size and amenities for a family of 3 and a beautiful garden to boot. Our host was friendly and flexible and we highly recommend it. Just keep in mind that it's a solid 15-20 minute Uber from downtown.
