Dove House Cottages - No 1

Modern , clean everything we needed

Access is not allowed out of the patio doors . We could only look at the patio and seats but couldn’t go out there . Strange

Beautiful cosy cottage in a beautiful area. Beautifully clean throughout and smelt lovely, the temperature inside was spot on. Milk and prosecco and hot drink facilities, biscuits and porridge were left to use which was wonderful of the owners. Did have to call out the guy about the WiFi on one of the nights but he came out quickly and resolved the issue which was excellent of him so can't complain. A lovely stay with beautiful views of a local church and would definitely book to stay here again.

The cottage is beautiful and in a lovely setting, there were great touches like the biscuits, porridge etc and the bottle of prosecco went down well as we were there for a birthday celebration for my partner. The place was clean and looked gorgeous as you walked through the door! There were two lovely pubs a short distance away (we appreciate the recommendation board too!) and it was so easy to get into Oxford if you wanted too! The hosts were really communicative and understanding x

Only thing I’d want to change is to be able to have a coffee in the back garden- but there was a small seating area out the front that could be used so that made up for it !

Easy parking. Good kitchen facilities. Eggs a nice touch

Sadly not for us. Would be very hot in Summer. Road noise more than expected. Patio outside was an eyesore with no access, again if hot would be unbearable. Shower wets everything in bathroom, including the toilet paper. Sink difficult to use as water doesn’t go down drain well.
