About this house rental
This house has been professionally decorated and is on Madaket Rd. It has the largest landscaped yard in Madaket (almost 1 acre). Its an upside down house with the kitchen, living area and master bedroom- private bath (queen bed) on the upstairs. There are decks off the kitchen area (barbecue) and master bedroom. Loft is above top floor living area(queen bed). Downstairs is tv area- 2 bedrooms. 1 bedroom- queen bed - private bath and other bedroom - 2 single beds. Back hallway and changing area- full bathroom.
Tv area- only 1 tv in the home (purposely) and card table .
Shed out back that holds bicycles and beach chairs.
Only Fees other than rent is a cleaning fee and security deposit.
Basement is unfinished with washer/dryer and storage.
This is a great home and we are particular about the parties we rent to. No pets allowed. You will love Madaket and the convenience to the beaches, Millies Restaurant, Smith Point , town bus, etc.
We treasure this house and want the right partner for the home. We want someone who will give it the care that we do as we never wear shoes in the house. We keep it sand free as much as possible.
We want to find the right family that we could have an ongoing relationship for rentals in the years ahead. We would even be open to a house swap if they had a winter vacation home.
Large back deck with big grass area - perfect for frisbee or croquet.
There is a shed in back with bikes, beach chairs, and sports equipment.
ABSOLUTELY NO PETS!!! ALLERGIES IN FAMILY.

This was our first time to Nantucket and the house and the owner, Jimmy, could not have been nicer. It is in the Madaket with a nearby beach and cove and has all the things that make for a great stay. There are water views of the harbor and you can here the waves crashing at night. The house is in great shape and very comfortable beds, couches and a great kitchen. The walking and bike trail is right at the driveway and the yard is really big having room to play just about anything. Millie's is a great place to eat just down the street with ice cream, sandwiches and full entrees. There are fishing charters just a minutes walk across the street. You are close enough to town to get there quickly but out away from the daily traffic. I cannot say enough about how helpful Jimmy the owner was and how well he and his wife have it decorated. This may have been our first trip but we will definitively be back and hopefully this house will not be rented out so we can stay there again. I will recommend it to all my friends in South Carolina.
