About this house rental
A beautifully appointed family beach home with expansive first and second-floor water views and a stunning swimming pool. A pool house is included in the prime Summer weeks and it can be added for a fee at other times.
Enjoy the amazing West End sunsets over the harbor from the privacy of the deck and even from the swimming pool. There are multiple living areas inside and out. The property is recently furnished. Located approximately 50 yards from the public pier - a great spot to launch kayaks or a small boat.
This is a NON-Smoking house and pets are not permitted. There is also a 3-bedroom cottage on the property that can be added for a fee. It is private from the main house, but still a good place for extra guests. You can view the extra 3 bedroom cottage at Vrbo # 806143.
First Floor: Enter into a foyer with a powder room. To the left is a well-organized mudroom with a full washer and dryer. Straight ahead and to the right is a fully-equipped kitchen with two dishwashers, a SubZero fridge, and Wolf gas range. An impressive center island creates a great gathering spot to experience the terrific views of Hither Creek. To the left is a dining table for eight guests and a mahogany dry bar with a SubZero fridge.
The living room is outfitted with comfortable furnishings, a 52" flat-screen TV, and sliders to the covered deck and yard. The house has a comprehensive Sonos streaming music system that guests can access for music in most rooms and outdoor spaces. Off the living room is a furnished screened-in porch with comfortable seating. The master suite has a vaulted ceiling, king bed, flat-screen TV, computer with printer and fax, a private bathroom with a steam shower and a soaking tub, direct access to an outdoor shower, sunken hot tub, private deck, and pool.
Second Floor: The landing at the top of the stairs leads to sliders opening onto the wrap-around deck with fantastic views of Madaket harbor, Hither Creek, and beyond to Tuckernuck Island. To the right is a 2nd Master suite with a King bed, sitting area, flat-screen TV, and a private bathroom with a tub/shower. To the left is a bedroom with a flat-screen TV, a Queen bed, and 2 lofted twin beds above accessed by a ladder. The room has a barn door enclosure. At the end of the hallway, there is a bedroom with Bunk bed, Queen on the bottom and a Single on top, and a flat-screen TV. Off the hallway, a bathroom with a shower completes the second floor.
The Basement level has a second washer and dryer as well as a simple fitness area with padded floors, mirrored wall, an exercise bike, a weight bench, and some free weights.
The Pool House is included during prime summer weeks and can be added for a fee at other times. While it does not provide a sleeping area, it has a full living room with a flat-screen TV, a bathroom with an outdoor shower, a bar area with ice machine, refrigerator, and dishwasher, and a third washer and dryer

Cannot say enough great things about this stay! Such a beautiful home, immaculately clean and in a wonderful location. Tom and Donna go above and beyond to make sure that you have everything you could possibly need throughout the week and are so helpful and accommodating. Wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else!

We loved our stay! The home is thoughtfully designed and beautiful, even nicer in person than in the pictures. The decor is tasteful and comfortable, and the house is well appointed throughout. The kitchen is fabulous. The views of Hither Creek are fantastic all day long and the house has plenty of outdoor seating and dining spaces. The pool is beautiful (and warm) and the yard is nicely landscaped with mature plants, including abundant hydrangeas. We brought kayaks and a paddle board and it was easy to carry them down to the dock, a great launching point with calm waters. We loved the laid-back Madaket vibe. The beach was an easy walk (about 10 minutes at a leisurely stroll), really clean, and the sunsets were unbeatable. There is a bike path and a shuttle shop close by. The owners were friendly, helpful and very responsive. We hope to visit again!

The home is set in an incredible location in Madeket. The home is spacious with beautiful attention to detail and great quality. Kitchen is gourmet and stunning. Donna and Tom were an absolute pleasure to work with and our family looks forward to returning next year! Pool is an incredible added bonus of the house.

We stayed for a week at 8 F Street on Nantucket, and had a great time. The house is tastefully finished and decorated. It feels larger inside than you can see from the outside. We had five people in our family, but I think 10 people could comfortably live there -- we did not even use a few of the beds. The owner must have spent a lot of effort to think through all the details and convenient features -- everything we needed were right there, and more. A strong gust damaged one of the pool side umbrellas. We called the care-taker and it was fixed right way. Yes, the house does have a nice, new pool. I heard it is not easy to get a permit to build it these day.
The owner does have a fairly strict "departure procedure" to follow. We would have felt a little tedious normally, but in this case we were happy to do it all because it is such a nice property that we wanted to take care of it as if it were our own house.
