It's a truly charming location with everything you need for a getaway. Everything was more convenient than expected so that was a welcome surprise during peak season. We met a lovely lady in the pool one afternoon who coincidently turned out to be our host. It's reassuring there are still people out there like her who actually care about your stay. We will be going back!

Our room was clean, the property manager was very helpful with all questions we had the building was very close to the water, and we loved having a pool that was pretty deserted whenever we wanted to hang out at it. The only problem we had was the pullout couch, it had springs that wouldn’t attach to the frame due to tears. I let Jesse, the property manager, know and he apologized for the inconvenience and an air mattress was immediately brought up to our room. The living room/dining area was not that big, so it took up all the walking space to get onto the kitchen, but we pretty much stayed at the beach and pool, so it wasn’t that big of a deal, until we were in for the evening. Then it was inconvenient, but we managed. We would definitely recommend the place to others as we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

The mattress was EXTREMELY squeaky/grinding even just rolling over at night especially on the side closest to the window and very firm. All of the pillows are completely flat and not useable. It should be looked in to for future guests.

The location and neighborhood were great! The check in process was very easy. The condo had everything we needed for a long weekend stay. My only complaints are that the bathtub needs a little attention and the dishwasher is not user friendly-it took me some time to figure out how to turn it on.

The wicker furniture reminded me of Golden Girls!! Loved it!

My ONLY suggestion is to put curtains in the bedroom. That porch light on the balcony makes it hard to go to sleep. Then the sun wakes you up when it comes up.

I would definitely recommend & stay here again! :)

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We chose Tropical Isle because my daughter, granddaughter and myself stayed at the property last year for a girls getaway. I knew the location was perfect. I wish I had rented our previous room. The room my husband and I stayed in was less expensive but it came with a cost. Here are some suggestions I have.
Invest in a gel or foam mattress topper and fluffy pillows.
Allow for more towels. We were there for six nights and only had four towels.
Reconfigure the couch/tv layout. It was very difficult to watch tv from the couch. This wouldn’t have been an issue except for Tropical Storm Fred.
Install a new shower head.
We will more than likely return to Tropical Isle, just not this particular unit. The management is wonderful, the location cannot be beat for the price.

My daughter and I stayed here for a dance event being held at the emerald coast convention center. It was only 5 minutes or less depending on traffic to get to the convention center. The condo’s location to the beach is exceptional for the price. There is a partial view of the gulf that is only blocked by a smaller building. A plus is there is a Tom Thumb located next to the condo. We did not utilize the pool but it looked adequate for my daughter and I if we had wanted to go for a swim. We spent all our spare time on the beach. The beach was lovely-not too crowded and had a very attentive lifeguard patrolling the area. We liked the coach was comfy. Having a tv in both the living area and bedroom was nice. We air conditioner worked very well. We didn’t have any maintenance issues. The condo’s cleanness was pristine! Very tidy, well appointed in the kitchen but only included 4 bath towels. Also bring your own dish soap and extra tp. The WiFi was very strong! The bathroom was just big enough for functionality. There was plenty of bedroom storage available. The check-in process was a breeze! All needed info was emailed the day prior to arrival. No issues! We never had issues with parking and always had a convenient parking spot near are unit. The neighborhood was very safe. This is a very wonderful find and we will be staying here again. Please note, the condo is perfect for two people. I wouldn’t put more than in this unit unless absolutely necessary.

However there is NO beach service, this caused a conflict with the beach service ....not a good thing when all we wanted was a relaxing vacation. The bedroom needs blackout blinds, even after hanging a blanket over the window it was still too bright to stay asleep. The blind was ineffective and the curtain had been torn from the wall. I would guess from a previous guest trying to darken the room. The condo was clean. The small cabinet next to the stove needs to be secured.The kitchen stools and chairs are stained and dirty. It is impossible to change the channel on the TV in the living room/kitchen. So unless you are in the mood for SpongeBob the only choice is to sit on the bed. It seems the unit is showing some neglect...a few minor repairs would make it quite a comfortable place
