Loved having access to the beach. Had a small problem with Cable and Internet, but that was resolved the next day. Overall a very nice place to stay! Just bring some toilet paper with you. 🙂

The place is in a perfect location I’ve stayed there before and I have to say the same thing floors where dirty as hell I washed them on my hands a nee s the bathroom is nasty rust all over the door and bath curtain I bought a new shower head put it on and painting needs to be done and needs all upgraded fixtures and couch needs replaced needs a new fridge same old coffee machine nasty toaster nasty no ice cube tray’s nothing done since my last visit. Sorry but had to let someone know

Our stay was great! The property has a laundry room, a pool, and beach access. The small convenience store across the street was very nice to have so close by as well. My only complaint was that the listing pictures show a dining table, and during our stay that table was not there. Having a 2 year old sit on a bar stool to eat was difficult. I assume the table may have just been damaged from a previous visitor and not replaced prior to my stay. That was not a huge deal though and the pros definitely outweighed that con!

The apartment was very comfortable and clean. The location has very convenient access to the beach. The decor and furniture were great. I do, however, share the same negative opinion of many other reviews of this property....the occupant should not have to supply their own toilet paper and trash bags. These are necessities, not luxuries. There was a partial roll of toilet paper and only one trash bag. We were there for 4 and a half days. There were multiple days worth of dishwasher soap, which was a luxury. Not sure why the toilet paper and trash bags aren't stocked. Otherwise, a wonderful stay.

after checkin there was no key to the back door. I contacted.the owner, and they refused to get us a back door key. they just said if we wanted to go to the beach, we would.just have to leave the back door unlocked. We will never, ever again rent this unit. we have stayed in tropical isle on many occasions, and never been treated like this before. we are done! customer service was terrible. we give it an F-.

The property was very cute and convenient. We have stayed in Destin quite a few times, so thought this would be the same. Okaloosa island is the “lower income” side of Destin for sure. But it is a lot less packed and not as much traffic

Although pricy for the building. This was a clean and fresh feeling condo with nice amenities and great towels. The beds are comfortable and the shower is strong. The back door would be better served with a combination lock like the front door for convenience as the beach is right across the small back parking lot and just over the sand dunes. There is a convenient board walk for easy access to the beach. And a pool as well. We loved the place and location. This is our second condo to book in this building and the association does a great job maintaining the place. We will return.

Condo was very nice and we enjoyed it a lot. There was chairs, beach toys and boogie boards for the kids which was very nice. Only one toilet paper and paper towel. Only 3 pillows for a room that sleeps 6 and no comforters on any beds, only sheets. The dishwasher would never start so we had to load it and then wash what was left over. There was a different table in the dining room than in the listing and it was to high for the chairs, the bar stools were too high for the bar so really no where to eat a meal for the kiddos

This was our first time staying in this condo. While the condo met all of our needs and had all of the basic necessities it was not what I was expecting. The past few years I have found cleaner, newer and bigger condos for around the same. You just need to book a full 6/7 months before your vacation. I dropped the ball this year and booked 4 months in advanced. The condo staff were very polite and Helpful. Any negitive comments I have is based off of the condo having vinyl flooring through the entire condo, which is not fun when you are dealing with sand. I spent a hour plus everyday trying to sweep up sand. The other main issue we had was the pull out couch. The couch smelt horrible. I am not sure if the smell was from previous guest sitting/laying on the couch in wet swimsuits or if the couch had been urinated on. It was such a strong odor that You would smell it just walking by. I did not notify condo staff about my concerns. We just made due with what we had but I probably wouldn’t stay here in the future.

I thought it needed to be better stocked. It sleeps 6, but it had 4 towels, 4 forks, and 3 blankets. I stayed with my family of 5, it worked but we would have liked more. It needs a cookie sheet. It’s also important to know that when all the beds are pulled out you can’t walk into the kitchen or from the living room into the bedroom. It worked for us, but some people might not want to crawl over a bed or put it up everyday. The neighborhood felt safe, and it was very close to the beach, across the parking lot. The pool was nice, small but never busy. I called the manager number twice and emailed and never got anyone to ask for more towels or tell them about the things wrong we didn’t want to be blamed for. There was gum on the pull out bed, the coffee maker lid was broken, the toilet seat was broken, there was a wheel off the dishwasher tray. There was a lot of things kind of broken but workable like that. I just felt like I was back in college trying to make it work with wobbly handles on skillets, etc. Overall it was fine and doable but that’s all the info for you to make an informed decision.

I loved the location ! Literally steps from the beach . I never left Okaloosa Island . The VRBO property was so cute ! Very beachy with nice paint colors and decorations . The bed was super comfy . Loved having a kitchen . It had a little back porch to hang out on but the main thing is the beach access was like 50 feet away . Loved it !

The little place is all you need, it's close to the beach and restaurants. Plenty of parking just steps from your door and the colors inside & out are cheerful. This first floor unit is great for those of us who don't want to climb steps every day. Pictures are accurate, description was accurate except for the part where it says 3 minute walk to the beach. I walked to the beach every day and it took about 1 minute. As far as the person that left a bad review. Yes this unit can accommodate a couple with their children but it's not meant to host 6 adults. It's a one bedroom, one bath! That was just a case of someone trying to be cheap instead of getting a larger condo and paying more. I recommend this place and I enjoyed my time despite getting hit with hurricane Sally. Be positive people and enjoy your time off at the beach!
