Sounderosa Cottage sits 200 feet from the Ocean on the Western shore of Somes Sound in Hall Quarry.
The cottage offers all the amenities of home, including: Full size appliances, washer / Dryer, all linens, granite fire place, large deck, flat screen satellite TV, WiFi, private parking with unobstructed breathtaking views over Somes Sound and Sargent Mountain.
Our Cottage comes with 3 shared deep water docks, perfect for fishing or keeping your boat. Enjoy the sunrise and quiet island atmosphere from your own deck, and listen to the loons at sunset. A deep water mooring is complimentary if you are bringing / renting a boat.
Our Cottage is well maintained, and kept to the highest standards in cleanliness and quality. We provide firewood, soap, laundry / dish detergent, paper towels, trash removal, and even a large kettle to cook your fresh Maine lobsters which we have available at our dock. Enjoy fine local restaurants, and spend the day in Bar Harbor which is only a 10 minute drive. Enjoy the peaceful surrounding rich in wildlife and amazing views.

Perfect, beautiful location for easy access to and around Acadia. The hosts were easy to communicate with, and the guidebook was very helpful. Overall, a lovely place to stay!

Nice property. Great views and a nice place to relax. Good size for our family of 5 to explore Acadia for a weekEnjoyed being able to put a kayak in the sound so close to the place
