We relocated to Portland and stayed at Melanie’s place for 19 nights before moving in to our long-term rental. The most we enjoyed about her place: spacious, quiet neighborhood, walkable to dining and grocery shopping, comfortable, on-site parking for one car, and an excellent view of the sky from the second floor living quarters. Melanie responded promptly to any of our questions. The no-shoes-in-the-house policy was fine for us as we do the same in our own residence. The only issue for us was the twin bed was a bit short in length for my husband. Also, it would have been convenient to have a toaster but in our case we needed one in our next rental and purchased one. Other than that we were very pleased to find Melanie’s rental. Both Melanie and her husband are personable and helpful and we enjoyed talking with them too.

This home is just as described in the listing. It is in a quiet neighborhood. We were in town for a short two-night stay and chose this property because of its proximity to the venue where we were going. The house was clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay there again the next time we are back in Portland.
