We loved the location, central and close to public transportation and trains. The house has lots of character and has enough space for us to host our family and friends for a small gathering. The pictures do not do it justice. The views from the large windows are gorgeous.
The neighborhood is a bit rowdy, with wafts of smoke from the nearby coffeeshop coming through regularly. The stairs are very steep, and the bathrooms are small.

Yacob was a great host, very helpful and gracious with good information on things to see and do.
No better location canal views and the red light right at your front door.

The location was ideal, the house was incredible & we loved all the different floors & rooms! Plus, the views of the canals were beautiful. The roof top outdoor deck is great for a glass of wine at the end of a long day.

great location, and interesting house. great main lounge room. host was very welcoming, including a fridge full of beers
the two bathrooms are very average. the showers don’t drain well at all, meaning the whole bathroom and toilet floor is completely wet. The bathrooms were almost unworkable for 4 people. the 4th bedroom is up some very very steep stairs/ladder almost, and back down those stairs through another bedroom to get to the toilet. even for the red light district in Amsterdam, the bathrooms had a strong, unpleasant smell
