About this house rental
This is an affordable location where you can walk to the sugar sand beach and stay parked at the house. Sun drenched rooms with bright cheery decor. Cable and wifi are included. Recently renovated with hardwood floors and new appliances. Retreat to the spacious master bedroom with flat screen television. Enjoy the sunset with an afternoon libation from the widow's watch or relax with a morning cup on the screened in front porch. New landscaping designed to give the most privacy.

We had a smooth check in and responsive host. We enjoyed comfortable beds and had what we needed in the kitchen. Bathrooms were clean. Wood floors were nice. There were 2 very well-used beach chairs available, which was helpful. We enjoyed the keypad lock in order not to have to deal with keys for a week at the beach. There were two small charcoal grills, which we did not use - but nice to have. Ice maker kept up with our use for the week. We liked having laundry inside on the main floor versus below. Deck and upper deck could use some attention and maintenance (popped nails, loose boards). We only went on the upper deck once, as we found the stairs were super steep and bench seat was not stable. We also noticed some mold above the front door and window that is likely due to a leak - when we mentioned it, owner said they would treat with bleach, however with drywall, it will require more attention.

The house was clean, well taken care of, and perfect for our family vacation! We enjoyed the quiet street and shaded screen porch - perfect for reading morning, afternoon and night. The walk to the beach was short and the beach was beautiful! Another wonderful week at Sunset Beach!
