The Snug Garden Apartment

Upon arrival we were very happy with the location. The property itself was a good size and perfect for a weekly stay. Bedding and towels were lovely and clean and all the amenities we needed for our stay.

The property would be lovely and I would have given higher score but a few things spoiled it which are easy cheap quick fixes to make the property perfect. The walls could do with a freshen up as there are stains on the walls. The chairs around the table are very unsafe, nothing a screwdriver wouldn’t fix unfortunately we didn’t have one otherwise we would have tightened the legs up. The toilet seat does not fit the rim and was very uncomfortable to use. Very tight space aswell. Maybe remove the bath and replace with a shower and it would be perfect. There was a lot of black mould on the seal of the bath, I bleached it first day there which cleaned most of it. A bit of cilit bang soaked overnight and on the grouting would clean this up. The bed dipped in the middle which has given me a bad back all week. A new mattress wouldn’t go amiss. We didn’t allow this to spoil our stay however my biggest disappointment was not being able to have the bedroom window open, the bins are right outside the window and they were very smelly so we were unable to have any fresh air. The chairs in the front garden are a lovely touch to the property but unfortunately couldn’t sit out there as they were filthy in bird poo.

Location,- near town, warm plenty of hot water.

Uncomfortable settee, no teaspoons or floor lamp, although the owner brought both the next day on requests. Cooker hob light not working, cover missing as well. No hooks on doors so nowhere to hang anything I bathroom. Subtitles not working on tv. Doors ill fitting. Quite basic, not what you'd call cosy, no little extras
