About this house rental
95 Rock offers a unique Killington vacation experience. It's hard to say which season is best suited for this secluded home that sits on over 3 private acres with summer in-ground pool and year-round large hot tub. Our perfectly located home is 10 minutes away the Killington Ski Area and the access road with great restaurants and nightlife, 10 minutes from Pico and 3 minutes from the Green Mountain National Golf course. Having both privacy and being able to easily and quickly get to the base lodge or grab a Goombay Smash at The Lookout is hard to come by!
We purchased this home in February 2016 and completely re-furnished and decorated in a rustic cabin vibe (including our 5' 5" chainsaw bear that greets you when you walk in). We have rented homes with large groups many times in the Killington area and took everything we had learned from those experiences when designing and furnishing this home. We very often use this home ourselves, and our main goal is having a comfortable and fun stay for everyone in the group by making sure there are enough beds, seating and space for each guest. This large home boasts 5 bedrooms and 3 1/2 bathrooms, currently sleeping 12 with new regulations with multiple configuration options. The full hallway bathroom upstairs was renovated in 2022 and the master bathroom in 2024. This home also offers a dining room which has enough seating for the whole group and friends! No need for eating dinner in shifts or in separate areas - everyone can enjoy a meal at the end of the day together by the fireplace.
Our home is perfect for entertaining and enjoying your family and friends with a large eat-in kitchen equipped with a Wolf 6-burner gas range, Brand new 2021 Liebherr fridge, under counter beer fridge and many different sitting areas to hang out with your group. The kitchen opens into a living room area that has a 50 inch LED Samsung Frame Smart TV that connects to the fabulous screened in porch. There is also a den that has a 50 inch LED smart TV next to a large open deck with grill. The basement has a 60 inch LED smart TV with Bose surround sound with a couch that can seat up to 13 people comfortably, fireplace, pool table and a workout room. Wi-Fi is top of the line for simultaneous streaming on the smart TVs and video conferencing for work. There are two Sonos Soundbars on the main floor for perfect music listening.

Our hosts were excellent communicators and responded quickly to our inquiries and issues. The house is remotely situated for those who enjoy privacy yet just minutes from hiking trails, fishing, golfing, convience stores and the Killington Adventure Center, which the whole family thoroughly enjoyed. The house is well laid out with plenty of room for a large group and has a great family/home theater room in the basement with lots of seating space, a pool table, games, and toys for youngsters. Our four grandkids (ages 9-14) enjoyed watching a movie there in the evening just prior to bedtime. The entrance to the house from the garage was large and designed to hold ski equipment and boots and any variety of parafinalia one would bring on vacation. The kids and the adults all enjoyed the swimming pool, hot tub and fie pit. The large dining room table held all eleven of us with room to spare. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, silverware, cooking utensils, pots and pans, and glassware. The house is also well stocked with paper products, a welcomed convenience that not every place we have rented provides. The houses was generally very clean, but the windowsill between the screens and the glass in several rooms and the screens on the porch would benefit from a good vacuuming. We all had a great and memorable vacation at this property which was graced on our last morning by the visit of a black bear that was, at least for us, the icing on the cake. We would stay there again.

My family and I had a nice stay, while we had a couple issues the host was very accommodating to help resolve them quickly. The house was beautifully decorated and had a lot of things to offer as far as things to do or things you may need. It had a vibe for a woods type theme but modern living. Close enough to get things at a store but tucked away on a back road to have peace and quiet with pleanty of privacy.

We had a wonderful time. The home was lovely-couldn’t have asked for anything better. The pool and hot tub were enjoyed by all. Plenty of room to spread out and the house very unique.

What an absolute joy it was to stay in this beautiful home! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at ease. The house was filled with thoughtful touches that made our stay so comfortable—sunny mornings in the kitchen, quiet evenings on the porch, and the most peaceful nights of sleep.The built-in pool was a favorite spot for everyone. And when the sun went down, the fire pit became the heart of the backyard—perfect for roasting s’mores and sharing stories under the stars.Inside, the home was spacious and thoughtfully laid out. There was plenty of room for everyone, with comfortable beds and generous living space that never felt crowded. One of the highlights? The downstairs area, where our whole family—all 11 of us!—gathered to watch a movie together.Communication with the owners was incredibly easy and smooth. They were kind, responsive, and made sure everything was just right for our visit. It made the whole experience even more enjoyable.
