Great location (isolated and private), well maintained home, beautiful views, Queen bed in master only average comfort, porch stair rail a bit shaky and stairs very steep. Saw eagles on several days, lovely place. Thank you for a great vacation.

Spectacular view, restful stay.We had a wonderful few days with perfect weather, a fantastic view of Puget Sound and Mt Rainier, and a lot of relaxation - a perfect weekend after being in the bustle of Seattle during the week. We can see why some families return multiple times; we may too. Plan to get groceries, etc. in advance or on separate outings. The local convenience store a mile away has great sandwiches and basic supplies. Not far to the wineries of northern Bainbridge and the region. Plant lovers: you may want to research the specialty nursery nextdoor; it requires appointments. We enjoyed all the birds. I cleaned and refilled the hummingbird feeders too.

A great place for me and my family when we're visiting my sister in Indianola. Plenty of room for all, can bring our little doggo, and great facilities (kitchen, laundry) to make things easy on a multi-day stay.

Beautiful property and view though not as private as other Vrbo properties since there’s a keeper who lives on the property. The home was clean but needs repairs. Didn’t know which chairs in the dining room were functional after the bottoms dropped out of two. Curtain rod in master suite center window was broken and screens were missing on a sunroom and a dining room window. Stairs down to the yard are soft and several are split and really should be replaced. Pet damage to some of the furniture could be covered with arm covers. Oven needed to be cleaned. Despite a strongly-worded note about not moving furniture, the porch was packed with multiple patio sets that had to be shifted in order for three people to sit together outside. Clocks throughout the house needed new batteries so they all told different times. Bird feeders were empty and we couldn’t find the seed so birds were checking the multiple feeders constantly. We would encourage the owner or keeper to clear a few shelves for guests to unpack their food; we have never used the food left at a rental. And it would be very welcome to have a simple Dollar Tree set of four mugs instead of mix matched mugs of various sizes. Just things that help guests feel at home. This may all seem small but for the cost of rentals today (over 1000 for a week), guests are looking to feel at home and some simple repairs and small changes would really elevate the rental.
