About this house rental
Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located single level home, 1 block from University of Puget Sound. This is an entire 3bed 2bath 1500sf home located in a quiet residential area. Enjoy an outdoor meal on the patio or relax on the covered front patio. Kids will love the play-set under the beautiful cedar tree, and the fully fenced backyard. Proctor and 6th Ave are 10-15 minute walk away for restaurants, shops, grocery stores, farmers market, and more.
This home is the perfect place to relax with family and friends. The bright and spacious living room boasts cathedral ceilings, large skylights, and a gas fireplace. There is a smart TV with multiple streaming options including Direct TV.
The master suite has a King size bed, a full bathroom with a shower, a desk, and direct access the back patio and yard. Each of the two other bedrooms have a queen size bed. All bedrooms have blackout curtains. There is a full bathroom in the hallway with a bathtub.
The kitchen has everything you need to make home cooked meals. In addition to cooking/baking supplies, we also have a Vitamix blender, spices, coffee maker, coffee grinder, tea and coffee.
The fully fenced backyard features a patio with a dinning table and a play house. The play-set is located in the front yard.
We are centrally located in North Tacoma. Everything in Tacoma is either walkable or within 10-15 minute drive away.
SeaTac airport is a 30 minute drive.
Seattle is a 45-60minute drive.
Mt Rainier is about 1.5 hr drive.
There is a standard level 2 EV charger next to the garage, we get a full 240 mile charge in 5 hours.

We were looking for a one level home with at least three bedrooms and two baths close to both Point Defiance and downtown and Jennie's home was the perfect fit. There was a Roku TV so we were able to watch our favorite streaming services plus everything you need for a week's stay. Jennie was very responsive when we had questions and we even had a few deer come by for a visit. I would recommend Jennie's place for sure!

Only adults stayed at the home but we had young children visit us there. They had so much fun! The tree swing, playhouse, and basketball hoop were big hits! We travel to the area twice per year to visit family and definitely plan to return to this specific home. The house is very well kept and has so many amenities for families (books, toys, crib, and a high chair).
