Location is absolutely wonderful and it is such a cute little cottage. Nothing fancy, but has pretty much everything you need including fun reading materials, games, and puzzles. While there, we were visited by otters and a bald eagle. The water is within a few steps of the house and the sound of the waves is lovely.
Be sure to bring bottled water or a pitcher with a filter. The tap water is potable. However, for people who are spoiled with great-tasting water sourced from the Cascades, we had to purchase while we were there.
The bathroom is in the middle of the house and accessible from 2 doors. Not an issue except that only 1 of the doors has a lock. Potentially tricky if you are traveling with friends or another couple and not as a family. Would suggest adding a simple lock to the bathroom door adjoining the bedroom.
Also, it would be handy if there was a way to partition off or make the room adjoining the living spaces more private. So that whoever is sleeping in this space is not awakened by those in the main living space. A wooden screen would do nicely.
There were some items that were broken or in poor condition, like lamps and the kitchen chairs. Not a huge deal and likely just wear/tear from renting out the place. They didn't seem expensive to replace though. Kinda wished that kitchen chairs weren't so wide so we could fit everyone around the table for dinner.
Our focus was on outside, not inside. But just a heads up for people who care... the TV was really small.

Nothing! I loved it all. I will be back. Without the husband and the kids. Lol. This is a place I’d love to bring my canvas and paints.
